A
reminder for today
For
he has strengthened the bars of your gates and blessed your children within
your walls. (Psalm 147:13)
I have an image for you today as you make your way into
today’s battles. I see the Lord surrounding you as a wall surrounds a city. He strengthens
the bars of your gates and He blesses you (His child) within these walls. The Lord
reinforces the walls with layer upon layer of bricks so that nothing can penetrate
your walls.
His blessings fall down on you as snow slowly covering
you from top to bottom. You are wrapped in His layers of blessings as you face
today and the battles that await you. Just as a father protects his children, the
Lord will protect you against all evil and keep you safe within your walls.
You are a fortress, impenetrable and unbreakable. There is
nothing that awaits you today that you will not be able to defeat victoriously
and without fear.
Fear of this world is for the ungodly and not for you my
friend. With God all things are possible and no enemy will ever prevail against
His children.
