Today Reminder – 16 July 2014 (Day 12 – War)

A reminder for today
The LORD helps the fallen and lifts those bent beneath their loads. (Psalm 145:14)

Awesome words! I must admit that lately I have felt the Lord at work in more ways than ever before. I have felt how He has made many of my loads lighter with His amazing love and grace. It is just wonderful to live among all our challenges with the wonderful knowledge that our Lord is always there and we have nothing to fear.

No matter who you are or what you are facing, the Lord helps all the fallen and lifts those bend beneath their loads. This is such an amazing promise and surely one we can so easily forget.

I have this image of each one of us carrying a huge load and some are at the point of collapsing. Then the Lord sends help and we are back on our feet and carrying an even heavier load with no difficulty. I see how the enemy secretly adds more and more to each one’s load and how the Lord strengthens each one by making them stronger so that the heavier loads seem just as light as they were originally.

You see, no matter how heavy your load and how hard your challenge, the Lord lifts you and strengthens you. There is no need for you to worry and concern yourself about what lies ahead. Focus in the now and focus on the Lord. He is the only constant that never changes. He is and will always be.

"That is why I tell you not to worry about everyday life—whether you have enough food and drink, or enough clothes to wear. Isn't life more than food, and your body more than clothing? Look at the birds. They don't plant or harvest or store food in barns, for your heavenly Father feeds them. And aren't you far more valuable to him than they are? Can all your worries add a single moment to your life? "And why worry about your clothing? Look at the lilies of the field and how they grow. They don't work or make their clothing, yet Solomon in all his glory was not dressed as beautifully as they are. And if God cares so wonderfully for wildflowers that are here today and thrown into the fire tomorrow, he will certainly care for you. Why do you have so little faith? "So don't worry about these things, saying, 'What will we eat? What will we drink? What will we wear?' These things dominate the thoughts of unbelievers, but your heavenly Father already knows all your needs. Seek the Kingdom of God above all else, and live righteously, and he will give you everything you need. "So don't worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will bring its own worries. Today's trouble is enough for today.” (Matthew 6)

Have an awesome day dear friend of Jesus

Cheers
