A
reminder for today
The Bible says in 2 Peter 1:3 that as we grow in our
knowledge of God, through His divine power He gives us everything we need
for life and godliness. Jesus relied on the Word of God alone to
overcome obstacles, including the devil. God's Word is alive and powerful
(Hebrews 4:12), useful for correcting us when we are wrong and teaching us what
is right (2 Timothy 3:16). So, it makes sense for us to carry God's Word in our
hearts through memorization, to be ready to face any problem, every difficulty,
and whatsoever challenge that life can send our way.
"You
don't have enough faith," Jesus told them. "I tell you the truth, if
you had faith even as small as a mustard seed, you could say to this mountain,
'Move from here to there,' and it would move. Nothing would be impossible."
(Matthew 17:20)
When we carry His Word with us each and every day in our
hearts we will become stronger. Growing in our knowledge of God should also make
us grow in our faith. Jesus says here that if we had faith as small as a
mustard seed we would be able to move mountains. My dear friend, come with me
today as we trust God with all our hearts. I have seen God Move Mountains and I want to see Him do it again. Come with me and
let us submit our hearts completely to Him and trust Him. Let us look up to the
heavens with hands lifted high as we proclaim His power in our lives and let
the Holy Spirit fill us with strength as we just have faith in Him. Let our
faith be fearless and strong so that we will see those mountains move today and
each day to come.
