A
reminder for today
God
saved you by his grace when you believed. And you can't take credit for this;
it is a gift from God. (Ephesians 2:8)
It is by our faith that we will be saved. You see nobody
is perfect and nobody can be perfect no matter what those superstars think. In the
end we will have to stand before God and be judged by the life we lived. As the
Scriptures say, "No one is righteous—not even one.” And in 1 John 1 we are
also reminded about our imperfections: If we claim we have no sin, we are only fooling ourselves and not
living in the truth. But if we confess our sins to him, he is faithful and
just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all wickedness. If we
claim we have not sinned, we are calling God a liar and showing that his word
has no place in our hearts.
We may be imperfect, but Jesus in us makes us perfect for
God. Perfectly designed by a loving Father – Believe this my friend, for the
mistakes you make on a daily basis are forgiven daily by a loving and
understanding Father. To live in His light is surely no easy task, but to allow
Him to give us guidance and make us stronger will surely make us better. Do not
let the world confuse you with its misguided insults and poor example, instead
let Jesus be the map that you follow and the way you walk. It is not the
mistakes that we make that defines us but the way we stand up and try again. You
are already saved, my friend, and it is not because you are so cool, it is because
you are so loved.
