Today Reminder – 12 January 2016

A reminder for today
You divided the sea for your people so they could walk through on dry land! And then you hurled their enemies into the depths of the sea. They sank like stones beneath the mighty waters. (Nehemiah 9:11)

What as awesome night filled with thunder and lightning as the Lord showers our land with miraculous rain. I got up last night and for a moment I just watched as the whole sky is filled with streams of thunder as they jump and rumble in the clouds above. When you stand in front of a storm like that it is almost impossible not to feel small. When I look at that tremendous lightning filled sky I am in awe and wonder at the greatness and size of our God. You alone are the LORD. You made the skies and the heavens and all the stars. You made the earth and the seas and everything in them. You preserve them all, and the angels of heaven worship you. (Verse 6)

My dear friend as we walk into this year we are most definitely going to face a magnitude of storms if you are not in one already. And I feel that the Lord wants to remind you today that He will part the seas for you in your journey so that you can walk through your storms on dry land and sheltered from the elements. I feel that the Lord is showing me a bubble that you are walking in and this bubble represents His hands as they cover you from all sides so that you will not be hurt by the spears of the enemy. Walk on my friend, because you are walking with God as He keeps you safe and protected through your storms.

Lord I thank you that you enclose us in your hands and that you keep us protected from all the evil of this world. Lord carry us through our storms and challenges so that we will stand up on the other side glorifying your name for the whole world to see so that every knee shall bow down and every tongue will confess that you are God and that there is no other. In Jesus name.

Have and awesome day dear friend of Jesus.

Cheers
