Today Reminder – 29 January 2016

A reminder for today
So I did as he told me and found the potter working at his wheel. But the jar he was making did not turn out as he had hoped, so he crushed it into a lump of clay again and started over. (Jeremiah 18:3-4)

My dear friend, I am thinking about you today and I wonder how you are doing. I wonder if you are healthy and I wonder how you are doing with your challenges. I wonder about your way of life and I do hope you are doing well. You see God looks at us each day and He knows exactly who we are and how we are doing. He holds us in His hands and He keeps us safe from the continuous attacks from the enemy. But more than that we are like clay in the hands of a Master potter busy moulding us into a perfect jar that He can fill with His Spirit and bless us so that the world will see His master piece and stand in wonder of God’s power.

As we travel through life on our journey we are continuously learning and experiencing life with all its challenges. We gain knowledge and we learn how to apply it better. Not only do we learn more but we gain knowledge in God by spending time with Him and time in His Word. This is the makings of a perfect jar. The funny thing about us is that we can’t just crush ourselves into a lump of clay and start over again. We have to allow the Father to mould us slowly into perfection until we reflect Him flawlessly.

So today I want to remind you that are perfect and you must be patient as the Lord is moulding away the rough edges so that you can be all He wants you to be. He made you perfect and He will mould you into a perfect you. Smile at that face looking back from the mirror, because that is God’s masterpiece in the making.

Lord, we thank you for patience with us and for making us perfect in you. Let us become more of you and less of ourselves as you guide and teach us to be like you. Let us glorify you with every step. In Jesus name.

Have and awesome day dear friend of Jesus.

Cheers
