Today Reminder – 25 Augustus 2016



A reminder for today
God is our refuge and strength, always ready to help in times of trouble. So we will not fear when earthquakes come and the mountains crumble into the sea. Let the oceans roar and foam. Let the mountains tremble as the waters surge! (Psalm 46:1-3)

The Lord is our refuge. He is the tower of our strength and in Him we find peace and joy. So why do we fear? We do not need to fear anymore and we do not need to worry about hard times. He is always ready to help and guide us and in Him we will always find a solution. We do not need pain and sorrow anymore because He gives us so much more. We do not live an average live anymore, we live a life that is filled with joy and a life that flows over in grace and blessings.

So the world can fall apart around us and mountains can crumble into the ocean and we will stand firm on the cross of Jesus for He came to set us free. He is the way that follow and the light that we see. He is the power and He is the glory. He is my strength and He is my determination. He is my answer and He is my way forward.

So today I want you to stand up fighting for the enemy will never bring us down nor will he make us fall, because with God all things are possible.

Lord, you are our refuge and our strength. Come down and fill us with your presence so that we may shine in all and in everything. In Jesus name.

"Be still, and know that I am God! I will be honored by every nation.  I will be honored throughout the world." (Verse 10)

Today Reminder – 7 August 2014 (Day 5 – Return to Proverbs)

A reminder for today Honour the LORD with your wealth and with the best part of everything you produce. Then he will fill your barns with grain, and your vats will overflow with good wine. (Proverbs 3:9-10) When we realise that all we are and all that we are good at is a blessing from the Lord we soon see how we can honour Him with these wonderful talents. I give all the credit to the Lord for all that I accomplish and all that I do and I am humbled by the way He continues to give me wisdom in my work. The promise here is much greater than we realise. When we honour Him with all that we produce, He will fill our barns and let our vats overflow. This to me means that the more we honour Him in what we produce (do) the more He will bless what we do up to the extend where we will see His blessings and they will leave us completely overwhelmed. In the end all that we have comes from God and He will increase what we have when we seek Him above all and live to bring glory to Him. ...

Today Reminder (Boxes) – 9 November 2017

A reminder for today   I am the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last, the Beginning and the End [the Eternal One]. (Revelation 22:13 ) When you are reading this, I will be well on my way to my parents. Today is their moving day and we are off to help. Now, when it comes to moving I am almost an expert. We moved a few times and I can tell you it was never fun. Even still today our furniture starts to shake when a truck drives by. Now moving is all about boxes. Your stuff goes into the box and then onto the truck and finally at the new destination the stuff comes out of the box. One thing I can tell you is that with every move our stuff got lesser and lesser, because I gave some away that I thought we do not need anymore. Some would think I just made it less and easier to move. I would argue the opposite, but surely everyone is entitled to their own opinion. When we look at life it is a bit like moving.
