Today Reminder – 4 January 2017

A reminder for today
Devote yourselves to prayer with an alert mind and a thankful heart. (Colossians 4:2)

"He said, 'No, Annabel, I have plans for you on Earth that you cannot complete in heaven…

Ever since I wrote about Annabel to you yesterday these words stayed in my mind all day long. Jesus said to her that He has plans for her that she could not complete in heaven. That is just mind blowing. Do you know that Jesus has plans for each one of us that we must complete here on earth. Each one of us has a specific skills set or we face a specific set of challenges. No matter the place we find ourselves in, God has a plan. In Annabel’s situation the fact that she returned from a near fatal fall and got up completely healed was already part of God’s plan. Her testimony and her humble way of life made a massive impact not only in her family and her community, but it now touches the hearts of many all over the world.

You see God uses each one of us in a different way, but you way is not inferior to my way, because in the end it is all of our contributions that will create a wave of change. It is sad that the lost will not see nor understand, but that does not mean we must stop trying. Jesus has huge plans for you, my friend, and together we can start that wave.

So what to do, what to do. God will not give you a business plan with what He has in mind for you, but He will reveal His plan at the right time. What we need to do is to devote ourselves to prayer with an alert mind and a thankful heart. This then is my last new year resolution and that is to pray and listen so that I can be ready when the Lord needs me in His plans.

Lord, as you bring the wheels in motion for us to take part in your plans for us, I pray that you will help us to hear you clearly and follow you voice. Help us again as we place all our focus on you and as we put on your Armour, that we will stand firm against the attacks of the enemy. In Jesus name.

Have an awesome day dear friend of Jesus.

Cheers
