Today Reminder – 3 April 2017

A reminder for today
But—When God our Savior revealed his kindness and love, he saved us, not because of the righteous things we had done, but because of his mercy. He washed away our sins, giving us a new birth and new life through the Holy Spirit. (Titus 3:4-5)

Does something deep inside your heart long to break free from the status quo? Are you hungry for an authentic faith that addresses the problems of our world with tangible, even radical, solutions? God is calling you to a passionate love relationship with Himself. Because the answer to religious complacency is not working harder at a list of do's and don'ts — it is falling in love with God. Moreover, once you encounter His love, as Francis describes it, you will never be the same. Because when you are wildly in love with someone, it changes everything. This is what this month’s book is all about and I know you will love it.

God loved us first. He loved you when you were still a mere thought and He loved you when you were no bigger than a tiny spec and He still loves you. He has revealed His kindness and His love. He saved us not because we are so cool in what we do, but because of mercy and grace. He washed away our sins, because He knew alone we will not be able to overcome it. He gave us a new life through the Holy Spirit.

All that he wants is a relationship with us and that we love Him back with all our hearts and all our souls. So today let us stand and work on a better and deeper relationship with God where we put Him first – always.

Lord, you are our savior and you are all that we desire. We kneel down before you and we declare that we love you with all our hearts and all our soul. We give you our hears and we ask that you reign in our lives. We love you, Lord and we desire more of you in our lives. Lead us to a closer more intimate relationship with you. Let is wear your armour today and stand victorious against the enemy. In Jesus name.

Have an awesome day, dear friend of Jesus.

Cheers
