Today Reminder – 21 June 2016

 A reminder for today
We who are strong must be considerate of those who are sensitive about things like this. We must not just please ourselves. We should help others do what is right and build them up in the Lord. (Romans 15:1-2)

We so often live only for ourselves and forget that Jesus wanted us to spread His Word and tell all about the gospel. So living for yourself in your own little world is not what Jesus intended for you. He wants you to trust Him and follow His guidance. He wants us stop pleasing only ourselves and do what is right to build others up. To be an ear that listens or a heart that understands or a voice that brings reason is all about guiding others to find their way back and stop living in darkness. You bring light into a dark world and life to those who otherwise would have perished. It is all about God.

So today we will remove the self from all we do and import other into our world and show Jesus to those who might get lost. Be a voice of reason in a world that tries to remove God from us. Be the pillar of hope for other so that they will find Jesus again and ultimately find eternal life as He dreamed for all of us.

Stand with me today as we stand for Jesus. Stand with me so that we will bring Jesus to all that has forgotten Him or has never known Him. Be ready for life changing miracles.

Lord, let us be your voice and help us to live a life that will bring honour and glory to you so that all will see you in our lives. In Jesus name.

Have an awesome day dear friend of Jesus.

Cheers

Today Reminder – 20 June 2016

 A reminder for today
So why do you condemn another believer? Why do you look down on another believer? Remember, we will all stand before the judgment seat of God. For the Scriptures say, "'As surely as I live,' says the LORD, 'every knee will bend to me, and every tongue will confess and give praise to God '" (Romans 14:10-11)

To condemn other has become an everyday thing. We are so quick to see the wrongs and mistakes of another that we become blind to our own faults. We blame other for our mistakes and we ignore the Lord in our decisions. We gossip and we say bad things of other. We spend hours on Facebook looking at what other do and then we criticize them. Facebook has become a missive problem in this world. It not only opens the web for gossip and vanity it robs us of personal contact. We are quick to criticize and slow to understand. We envy and we lie and we hurt as we live for only ourselves.

What did Jesus say about this? How can you think of saying, 'Friend, let me help you get rid of that speck in your eye,' when you can't see past the log in your own eye? Hypocrite! First get rid of the log in your own eye; then you will see well enough to deal with the speck in your friend's eye. (Luke 6:42)

So it is quite simple – do not condemn or gossip. We will all stand before the Lord in the end and I can guarantee you that God will look at the way you judged and condemned. Why is it so hard to just love your neighbour? Why is it so hard for people to leave other alone? When we turn to God and give our hearts for Jesus, we break from this kind of living. We turn from a life of gossip and hate and sin to a life of freedom and peace. We turn away from the world so that we can be accepted in the new world and the new heaven. We stand against hurt and pain so that we can show love and acceptance. We become a vessel of good news as we live for God and honour His name. Sometimes you must just take yourself out of your picture so that you can see other the way God sees them.

Lord, help us to be better and guide us away from gossip and condemnation into a judgement free way of life. Let us be your voice here on earth and for the sake of the world bring back the fire in me. In Jesus name.

Have an awesome day dear friend of Jesus.

Cheers

Today Reminder – 15 June 2016

 A reminder for today
Owe nothing to anyone—except for your obligation to love one another. If you love your neighbour, you will fulfil the requirements of God's law.  (Romans 13:8)

Love does no wrong to others, so love fulfils the requirements of God's law. I think we do not completely understand this: Love you neighbour as you love yourself. It is one of the most powerful statements made by the Lord. To fully love is to love with no boundaries. This means when you say that you love your neighbour you must expect the same things for them as you would for yourself. We seem to make love a mediocre word in the way we do things. We took the Godly meaning of love and replaced it with a worldly outlook. When God talks about love He does it in context to the way He loves you. Now God gave His Only Son, Jesus Christ, to die for your sins. This is the magnitude of His love and this is how God sees love. What is love then?

If I gave everything I have to the poor and even sacrificed my body, I could boast about it; but if I didn't love others, I would have gained nothing. Love is patient and kind. Love is not jealous or boastful or proud or rude. It does not demand its own way. It is not irritable, and it keeps no record of being wronged. It does not rejoice about injustice but rejoices whenever the truth wins out. Love never gives up, never loses faith, is always hopeful, and endures through every circumstance. Prophecy and speaking in unknown languages and special knowledge will become useless. But love will last forever! Now our knowledge is partial and incomplete, and even the gift of prophecy reveals only part of the whole picture! But when the time of perfection comes, these partial things will become useless. (1 Corinthians 13:3-10)

So now that we have an idea of how God wants us to love, let us change our perspective and align it to God’s perspective. Let us change our hearts and allow God to be the drive force in our hearts. Let us see other the way God sees them. There is unlimited power in forgiveness and remember God will forgive us in the same way we forgive other. Let your love flow, my friend.

Lord, come and fill us today with your boundless love and let is stream through us to those around us. Let us love our neighbours in the way you want us to love. In Jesus name.

Have an awesome day dear friend of Jesus. We have a long weekend so I’ll talk to you on Monday. I look forward to spending time with you.

Cheers
