A
reminder for today
So
the LORD made David victorious wherever he went. (1 Chronicles 18:6)
It is Monday again and do hope that you had a wonderful
weekend. This week I feel that the Holy Spirit wants to lead us into a time of
victories, whether they are personal or work related or even physical but
victories we will have and we will glorify the Lord with each one.
David became king and his way of life was so pleasing in
the eyes of the Lord that David was made victorious wherever he went and no one
could defeat his army. God said that David was a man close to his heart and I believe
that it was due the way that David loved God and kept His word that God admired
that about David and therefore made him so victorious.
This gives us a good idea where to start our life of
victories. Step 1: Using the Word of God as our guide, studying it and living
according to the principles outlined in God’s Word. For the word of God is alive and powerful. It is sharper than the
sharpest two-edged sword, cutting between soul and spirit, between joint and
marrow. It exposes our innermost thoughts and desires. (Hebrews 4:12)
My dear friend, our victory verse for today is
Philippians 4:13 For I can do
everything through Christ, who gives me strength. Jesus is our strength and
let us start our journey of victories this week by accepting Him as our saviour
and giving our hearts to Him so that He can renew our spirits and strengthen us
against the challenges that awaits us. Let us take on today with Jesus in our
hearts and filled with His unlimited strength so that we will glorify Him as we
defeat our problems at each corner.
Rise above it!
Have and awesome day dear friend of Jesus
Cheers
