A
reminder for today
Wealth
and honor come from you alone, for you rule over everything. Power and might
are in your hand, and at your discretion people are made great and given strength.
(1 Chronicles 29:12)
How are you today my dear friend? I do hope that I find
you today in a wonderful place where God’s peace fills your life and that you
are on your way towards a lasting and close relationship with the Lord. I have
always believed that everything happened for a reason and that everything has a
time and a place.
In our verse today David reminds us that everything comes
from God and that we are made great and given strength as God’s discretion.
This is one of those thought that should fill our minds on a daily basis. We
are in this life struggle together fighting against the enemy, but we should
always remember where our successes and strength comes from.
On our journey towards victory in our own lives it is so
important that we know where it all comes from and that we do not succeed on
our own strength. All that we have from wealth and honour to greatness and strength
is given to us by grace.
For
everything comes from him and exists by his power and is intended for his
glory. All glory to him forever! Amen. (Romans 11:36)
Whatever
is good and perfect comes down to us from God our Father, who created all the
lights in the heavens. He never changes or casts a shifting shadow. He
chose to give birth to us by giving us his true word. And we, out of all
creation, became his prized possession. (James 1:17-18)
Come with me today and remember that all we are and all
we have is from God and let us remain humble as we continue our journey towards
victory, for our victory is in Jesus Christ and we have nothing to fear. Not even
death.
