A
reminder for today
In
times of trouble, may the LORD answer your cry. May the name of the God of
Jacob keep you safe from all harm. May he send you help from his sanctuary and
strengthen you from Jerusalem. May he remember all your gifts and look favourably
on your burnt offerings. (Psalm 20:1-3)
With every day into our new horizons we battle with many
challenges and one of those is to live a life that glorifies our Lord. Just when
all seems fine we hit another problem and things go haywire. When life happens
where do you go? What do you do when walls come crumbling down and the rain
pours over your life?
It is in these times of trouble that the Lord will hear
our cry and keep us safe from harm and send us help to strengthen us. God will
always remember your efforts and He will always reward your determination. Don’t
let the enemy confuse you with pain and suffering or with unnecessary worries.
With every new horizon of every day the Lord watches over
us and He hears our cries for help. We must just humble ourselves and pray and
call His name.
My work lies ahead of me like a mountain that seems
unmovable, yet I am calm and peaceful for I know that the Lord will give me the
wisdom to overcome and complete my burden long before the expected deadlines.
Even in my pain and heartache my Lord lifts me up and
holds me close. I feel the comfort of His hand as He confirms once more that He
will hear my cry and send me help. The Lord is my sanctuary.
