Today Reminder – 24 January 2014 (Day 18 – A New Horizon)

A reminder for today
How the king rejoices in your strength, O LORD! He shouts with joy because you give him victory. For you have given him his heart's desire; you have withheld nothing he requested.  (Psalm 21:1-2)

In every new horizon God wants to provide for us. He wants to reward His children and take care of us. The Lord will fill every need and withhold nothing - For you have given him his heart's desire; you have withheld nothing he requested.
What is your desires and needs my dear friend? What is it that you trust the Lord for? I have seen His hand at work so many times in my life providing for us when we needed His help. God will always do what is needed but we must also learn to be patient and to trust the Lord in the process. Sometimes we trust the Lord for change but it seems as if it will never happen. The Lord knows when it is the correct time and His time is always perfect.

I trust the Lord for so many things in my life and I know He will do it in His time on the right time. My greatest desire is to walk much closer to the Lord in the new horizon. I will seek Him more and more and therefore become less of me and more of Him.

My dear friend, the Lord will give you your hearts desires. Just make sure that your desires are in line with His will and desire what is needed not what is materialistic. Materialistic needs are selfish needs for self-idolising.  God will always provide in our humble needs but not in our worldly (materialistic/selfish) needs. Our desires set us apart from those who are lost and we desire what is needed to glorify the Lord.  Our desires are not selfish and self-glorifying but our needs and desires are there to show the Lord to the world. It is in trusting the Lord and finally receiving your need that you will get so much closer to Him. Oh how I long to see your face when God changes your life and provides when it seemed impossible.

For the king trusts in the LORD. The unfailing love of the Most High will keep him from stumbling. (Verse 7) Trust the Lord for your needs and desires and He will keep us from stumbling so that we will be different and  we will stand out. Each need that the Lord fills must bring glory to His name, so make sure that you honour God for His love and grace.

Rise up, O LORD, in all your power. With music and singing we celebrate your mighty acts. (Verse 13)

Have and awesome day dear friend of Jesus

Cheers
