A
reminder for today
The
LORD's promises are pure, like silver refined in a furnace, purified seven
times over. (Psalm 12:6)
As this new horizon opens before us I realise that the
beginning of a year can be quite a frustrating part. December is behind us and
with all those expenses and costs that we had, January can be a challenge. It seems
as if payday is a week to late. The New Year’s expenses can be scary. Now these
frustrations that come with our new horizon can cause a number of irritations
and they then lead to friction. This is exactly what the enemy wants.
God comes today and reminds us that His promises are pure and what He promises
will happen and He will never change His promise. God has already made a number
of promises for us as this new horizon
lies ahead and we should not be deceived by a lying enemy but instead we
should hold on to God’s promises and trust Him.
God is for us, in that we have no need for fear nor do we
need to worry or allow frustration to get the better of us. I have said it so
many times before and I will say it again – You are very special to God and you
are where you are for a special purpose. It is because of this special purpose
that the enemy will be relentless in their attacks and in their attempts to
bring us down.
Come my dear friend and let us trust God for His promises
are pure, refined and purified. We do not need to fear what lies ahead, but
instead we can move into this new horizon with courage knowing that God is with
us and He will never abandon us.
