A reminder for
today
For the Son of
man is come to seek and to save that which was lost. (Luke 19:10)
We had a breakfast at the office this morning and I thought
I will shock a few and have some coffee. It created quite a discussion and I
must admit the coffee was not that great. I barely ever drink coffee so you can
imagine the surprise. Perception is something we all do and we all are always
aware of change. Anything that changes in our daily routines can have either a
negative or a positive effect on us. Mostly (and I am assuming now) it has a
negative outcome, because we do not like change especially when we are happy
with the way things are. Believe me, change is also good. Especially when we
look a life. We get so caught up in our daily lives that we tend to forget that
there is more to this life than what we see. God made us to live and explore
this wonderful world so that we can discover Him in all of it. From friendship
to nature and all that surrounds it. Break the routine a little and get outside
and find God in everything.
Jesus loved to open people’s eyes and change their routines.
This is such a powerful verse and it holds so much in it. Jesus did not come
for the saved, but the lost. He came for the those who felt guilty, those who
wanted to give up, those who are outcasts, those who did not know Him and those
who made mistakes. He gave His life for the condemned and broken. He defeated death
and broke the grip of sin for the weak, the weary, the broken and the misfits. His
heart is for those who struggled and felt to broken to be saved. Yes, that is
you and me. He came so seek and save those who were lost and change their
routines and alter their lives forever.
This weekend I want you to get outside and just live. Do not
worry about tomorrow and certainly do not worry about all your problems, debt
and struggles. Just live with a heart that totally belongs to Jesus and a life
that is dedicated to Him. Let go of all your fears and just let Him in. Take a
moment and walk with Him and spend time with Him alone. Next week will never be
the same.
Lord, come in our lives this weekend and isolate us from the
noise of this world and let us spend time with you and you alone. Renew our
Spirits and give us strength for all that awaits us in the days to come. In Jesus
name.
Have an awesome day, dear friend of Jesus.
Cheers
