A reminder for
today
Let no man say when he is tempted, I am tempted of God:
for God cannot be tempted with evil, neither tempteth he any man: But every man
is tempted, when he is drawn away of his own lust, and enticed. Then when lust
hath conceived, it bringeth forth sin: and sin, when it is finished, bringeth
forth death. Do not err, my beloved brethren. (James 1:13-16)
It is a clear blue sky that covers the city this morning. My
drive to work eventless and quiet. I walked into the gym for my morning cardio
session and I see all the familiar faces smiling back in a friendly good
morning. The session goes by quick and I am on my way to work. I look up at the
sky as if I am seeking an answer. Do not fall…
I drive into our parking area and I realise again the
amazing life that I am blessed with. The people that surround me and the
support I am getting from friends and family and I look up again. My heart seeking
the majesty of my God as it fills my very being. Do not fall….
I get into the lift this morning tired from my workout and
in no mood for the steps. As I walk into my office I look at the faces staring
back as we greet each other, and I see His glory. I see His hand at work and I see
His blessings. Do not fall…
What will your day look like? I am thinking of you; my
friend and I am thinking of how your life might be like and I realise that each
one of us faces different situations each day. We are suddenly under huge
pressure to deliver a cloud system that will be used for all our cloud clients
and soon to be the preferred system. Every eye in the top management is looking
at us. Do not fall…
It is simple when you think about it. We are tempted by evil
each day and we are challenged in our faith. We stand in a world where so many
faces judgement, because they do not care about their way of life. Money still remains
the root of all evil and the one temptation that hurts so many lives. I am in a
situation where I can plant into the lives of so many youngsters that has seen
the bad side of life and I thank God for this huge privilege. I realised that
my core goal is not to have a successful business but to have an impact in the
lives of children that has seen the bad side of life.
Money cannot solve relationships and the enemy lurks around
every corner to destroy and to hurt. But God uses people like us to infiltrate
the hurt and become a beacon of light. I am humbled by the path that God has chosen
for me. It is my honour to work for Him and show His light. Do not fall, my
friend, but stand up again and face the storm, because your victory might just be
the courage someone else needs. Be the voice and bring God’s word to the hearts
of those in need of salvation. Jesus came for the broken and the hurt and the
sick and the lost. Let us find them and lead them back.
Lord, thank you for the amazing work you are doing through
me. I am humbled by your mercy and grace and I am honoured to carry you with me
to the lives of those who needs you so much. In Jesus name.
