A reminder for
today
Then saith he to the man, Stretch forth thine hand. And
he stretched it forth; and it was restored whole, like as the other. (Matthew 12:13)
This morning when I stopped at school to drop the kids off I
noticed a rather large screw in my rear tyre. I thought I’ll just remove it but
soon realised it was much larger and I am about to deflate my tyre. So, I went
to Tiger wheel and tyre to get it fixed and while I am there I said they must
just change the tyres by swopping the front tyres to the back and vice versa.
They said that they will have to do a wheel alignment and I realise that
suddenly I might have an expense I did not budget for. But we worship an
awesome God and when it got to the alignment part they realise that regardless
the change in position of the tyres they are still perfectly aligned, and it
costed me nothing. What an awesome God!
Last night we read this part in Matthew where Jesus healed
the man’s hand. My son is a huge superman fan, so I said that Jesus can do some
very cool super stuff that no superhero can do. My son was intrigued and asked I
must tell him more. So, I said let me start with the small things. Firstly,
Jesus healed this man’s hand just by saying stretch out your hand.
Jesus walked on water and He can control the weather. He fed
thousands of people with just five loafs and two fishes. He healed many sick
people and once someone was healed just by touching Him. Jesus let people rise
from the dead and He can teleport. My son was excited at this moment and then I
said now for the big things. He looked amazed. I said that Jesus made everything
you see from the earth to the entire galaxy just by saying it. There is no
superhero like the God we worship and the is no God like our God. He is and was
and will always be.
Lord, thank you for the amazing wonders of your grace and love
and the privileged to share it with other. We love you so much. In Jesus name.
Have an awesome day dear friend of Jesus.
Cheers
