A reminder
for today
But
the LORD said to Moses and Aaron, "Because you did not trust me enough to
demonstrate my holiness to the people of Israel, you will not lead them into
the land I am giving them!" (Numbers 20:12)
Happy New Year – looking ahead:
And there it is, 2013! It is a new year, new beginnings
and new ideas. A time for change with New Year’s resolutions and plans for the
year that lies ahead. In so many ways God showed Moses His holiness and yet
Moses became frustrated and lost his trust. This cost him dearly in the sense
that God did not allow him to lead the people of Israel into the Promised Land.
You see God takes “trust” very seriously and I know He
does not bring things into your life so that you can lose that trust, but
rather that your trust in Him will increase as you humbly live dependently on
God.
My dear friend, my prayer for you for the year that lies
ahead is that your trust in our Lord will grow to a new level and that together
we will see His holiness as we show it to those around us. Let us take on 2013
and all the challenges that lie ahead to glorify an awesome and amazing God. I
pray that you will have a wonderful new year and that your relationship with
God will soar to new heights, in Jesus name.
