A
reminder for today
Then
the people of Israel set out from Mount Hor, taking the road to the Red Sea to
go around the land of Edom. But the people grew impatient with the long
journey. (Numbers 21:4)
Impatient – time can be a teacher:
Once again the people of Israel grew impatient with God
because their journey was longer, since they were not allowed to travel through
the land of Edom. Patience is something I think all of us lack at a time in our
lives. There always comes a time when we run out of it and it normally ends in
disaster. I struggle with patience a lot and of course the enemy will attack me
on this soft spot as much as possible.
My dear friend, add this to your new year’s resolutions. To
be more patient with everyone, especially your loved ones and those the Lord
sends on your way to help. With patience comes experience. You see if we are
more patient we will learn more and become more experienced. So when the time
comes we will be more qualified to deal with the situation. Time is your
teacher, because patience adds time to your journey and in patience your trust
in God is raised to a much higher level. This will not only add to your
experience but it will certainly grow your relationship with God. So in the end
the longer way will be a much safer and better way than the shortcuts the enemy
proposed.
I pray that the Holy Spirit will give you wisdom and
patience in all that you do in this year and that your patience will be
rewarded with victories, in Jesus name.
Have an awesome day dear friend of Jesus and Happy New
Year!
Cheers
