A
reminder for today
So be
careful not to break the covenant the LORD your God has made with you. Do not
make idols of any shape or form, for the LORD your God has forbidden this. The
LORD your God is a devouring fire; He is a jealous God. (Deuteronomy 4:23-24)
God and God alone:
There should be only one God in your life. Only one God
that you worship and that owns your heart, and this must be God our Father and
creator. We should be very careful about this, since God takes His place in
your life very seriously.
I have written to you before about putting God aside and
letting worldly influences misdirect you. God loves you more than we can understand.
To give His only son out of love for our sins is a love that rises far above
our own ability to comprehend. Therefore God is very serious about who you
place first in your life and where His position is.
My dear friend, let us take this day and just worship an
amazing and awesome God and make a point to let God know that He is and will
always be our first love. He takes the primary position in our lives and He
gets all the glory for all that we do and all that we are.
Come let us celebrate His mercy by sharing His love with
those around us. Be more, because He that lives in you is unlimited.
I pray that you will always put God first in your live
and that you will not slip away but remain on this path as you look towards
God for direction and comfort, in Jesus name.
