A
reminder for today
He
ensures that orphans and widows receive justice. He shows love to the
foreigners living among you and gives them food and clothing. So you, too,
must show love to foreigners, for you yourselves were once foreigners in the
land of Egypt. (Deuteronomy 10:18-19)
Be nice:
It is not nice when someone is nasty to you or when
someone is angry at you and most of all it is terrible when you are going
through a tough time and no one seems to notice. Jesus made it very clear that
next to God we must love our neighbours. Moses speaks to the Israelite people
telling them that God loves the foreigners among them which mean that they too
must care for them and love them.
My dear friend, there is nothing as powerful as an
understanding heart and helping hand. It is in giving that we will truly see
the power of God’s love. God loves each and every one equally so let us follow
His example and give a little love and spread the joy. Come with me today as we
take God’s love to those who need it. Be nice, smile, laugh and spread the
cheer. Let God truly shine from within you.
I pray that you will be a burning light of God’s love and
rudder to steer the lost in the right direction, in Jesus name.
Jesus
told him, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one can come to the
Father except through me. If you had really known me, you would know who
my Father is. From now on, you do know Him and have seen Him!" (John
14:6-7)
