A reminder for
today
And how shall
they preach, except they be sent? as it is written, How beautiful are the feet
of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things!
(Romans 10:15)
I love to add a little apologetic content to my blog just to
encourage you to stand and fear no lies from the enemy, but mostly my blogs are
personal and a personal account of my experience with the Holy Spirit guiding
my words. It is a time that I get to spend with you guys and to encourage you
to be strong and to stay the course. It is where I remind you (and me) that we
should not give up and more important we should not give up on those with
hardened hearts. In time, the Holy Spirit will open their eyes so that our
words will find good soil to start growing. We may not save all, but we can
surely try.
Don’t you just love good news? Everyone finds themselves in
place where they hear this: Do you want the good news first, or the bad news. Now
in my world I hear that often. There is always something that will work, but it
has its costs. Life is all about good and bad news and some days bad news can
shake your world. The enemy loves to be the bearer of bad news and to see you
crumble at the effect when it is given. You see the enemy thinks by throwing
one obstacle after another into your journey, he will break you. That is the
norm for those who do not know Jesus.
We know Jesus had already overcome this world and we know
that our God is far greater than anything the enemy can dish up. Within us we
have the good news and no amount of bad news can overshadow the good news we
have. We carry the greatest gift with us and we should not keep it hidden, we
must share it. It is written that the feet of those who preach the gospel are
beautiful to those hungry for peace and glad tidings. The expectation you had
as a child waiting for Christmas must be the expectation to have for the return
of our Lord. Just as you were eager to spread the Christmas cheer, you must be
more eager to share the gospel. The gift of the gospel is the only gift you
will ever need. The peace that Jesus brings is indescribable in comparison to
all that this world could ever offer. What we have in Jesus is life changing
and purpose given. In Him we find our true identity and who we were called to
be. In Him we are renewed to a world changer and path giver. He is our God and
He is the answer.
Lord, let us share your gospel with joyful hearts and
fearless spirits. It is a life changing, life giving and life fulfilling gift. Let
us bring these glad tidings of good things to every ear we meet. In Jesus name.
Have an awesome day, dear friend of Jesus.
Cheers
