Today Reminder (You Matter) – 19 October 2017

A reminder for today
And we have seen and do testify that the Father sent the Son to be the Saviour of the world. (1 John 4:14)

It has been a challenging week and there is still much to do here on our side. Our release has faced a number of ups and downs and we are fighting to get things done to be in time for our November deadline. How are things on your side, my friend? I have written a number of times on how much you are worth and how you should look at yourself. Yesterday as I was on my way to do my cardio session the song “Matter” played on my play list and I just got deep feeling that today I need to tell you that you matter.

It is a huge issue in today’s world were people feel that they do not matter and a terrible burden of depression lies on them. People feel that they are not worth anything and in many cases these thoughts lead to substance abuse and suicide. Why is this a huge lie that the enemy conjured up to hurt us and destroy people? You see Jesus came to this world for a number of reason and each one of them points to you and me. He came to be our saviour and to set us free from these lies. Jesus wanted to let you understand that you are so important to Him and your life matters so much that He gave up his life for you. But He did not just hand it over and that was that. Jesus was captured (arrested) and the beaten. He was falsely accused and tortured and finally He was hated and crucified.

Jesus went through a massive and horrific punishment to give you a glimpse of the importance that you have for Him and how much He loves you regardless your flaws and mistakes. He knows what you are going through so He gave all to carry the weight of sin so that you do not have to bear it. He took your punishment on your behalf to proof to you how much you matter.

When I say you matter I mean you are just as important to God as anyone else. You are no less than the people around you and you are not loved less. You are so special that He would do all that and continue to forgive you even when we feel we are unforgivable. Jesus knows how relentless the enemy is so He made it clear that the enemy has nothing on you anymore, because the minute you called His name as your saviour you are set free and there is nothing the enemy can do to change that, except to tell you lies and try to confuse you.

You are wonderfully and perfectly crafted and you are loved so much. There is nothing that can separate or remove you from the love of God and there is no one that can accuse you when you are forgive. This world may keep it against you, but God sees your heart and in the end, it is all that matters for this world will not last, but God’s kingdom is forever.

Therefore, my dear friend, you matter more than you know.

Lord, thank you for giving us so much and thank you for loving us so much. Lead us away from the lies of the enemy and deliver us from evil. Keep us safe in your arms and be with us through this day as we show your love to other. In Jesus name.

Have an awesome day, dear friend of Jesus.

Cheers
