91 Days of Victory – Day 56 (2026/04/24)
But when I am afraid, I will put my trust in you. Sometimes we are working in a process, and it all seems to be going well, and your timelines and planning is all working out, but right there when you expect a bit of good news the opposite happens. Another unforeseen snag in the process and sometimes this can set you back. In verse 7 David writes “Don’t let them get away with their wickedness; in your anger, O God, bring them down”, honestly, I am feeling much the same. You know how sometimes you really think that this can now come to an end and then a small thing now pushes this forward and what has been frustrating will now take even longer. So, when David writes do not let them get away you begin to think will this ever happen and will this wickedness be stopped. We get negative and a whole bunch of negative thoughts start to surface. Now I need you to hear this in verse 9 – “My enemies will retreat when I call to you for help. This I know: God is on my side!”. Important phrase – THIS I KNOW. I know that God is for me and not against me, I know that I can do all things through Jesus who strengthens me, I know that I have authority over the enemy, I know that God will answer me, I know that His thoughts are to give me hope, I know that ALL things will work out for good and I know God is on my side. I know what God’s promise is and I know He said we will have victory and so “I praise God for what he has promised. I trust in God, so why should I be afraid? What can mere mortals do to me?”. As for me and my house, we will follow God, and I will stand on His promises, and I will see it all come to pass for I delight in my Lord, and I seek Him above all else. Have an awesome day, my friend and never allow negativity to enter into you mind and out your mouth but instead know ALL THINGS WILL WORK OUT FOR GOOD.
