91 Days of Victory – Day 64 (2026/05/02)

 

But God himself will shoot them with his arrows, suddenly striking them down. This morning I am desperate for my Lord as I continue my battle for my little girl. Some days it feels as if I am stuck in a box as I struggle with the process. As I read Psalm 64 it is almost as if the Holy Spirit shows me the wickedness of what happened and is happening. In verse 5 David writes, “They encourage each other to do evil and plan how to set their traps in secret. “Who will ever notice?” they ask”. And to be honest I think this is exactly what happened. This terrible plan was set in motion with the very idea that no one will notice as a trap is set for me to lose my daughter. Instead, God intervened and opened a door that I can only say is by His grace and His work. When I needed funds to battle this court case God send someone to help me and every day, I am still in awe of how it all fell into place. Yes, this process is exhausting and really gets to me some days. In verse 6 David writes, “As they plot their crimes, they say, “We have devised the perfect plan!” Yes, the human heart and mind are cunning”. This is so true in my situation. Yes, she must have thought the plan is perfect for she planned it for months. When the first attempt failed, she went in for a more devious and extreme one. It is so true that the human heart and mind can be cunning. We know that it is the ideas of the enemy but in the end, people make the choice. Days when I struggle with the battle God gives me answers like what He says here in verse 7 and 8, “But God himself will shoot them with his arrows, suddenly striking them down. Their own tongues will ruin them, and all who see them will shake their heads in scorn”. My dear friend, Jesus said that we will have tribulation on earth and we will face many trials for Him. When we chose to follow Jesus and we take up our cross, the war starts. As I battle through this day by day, I know that no weapon formed against us will prosper and the thoughts God has for us is thoughts of peace so we will have a hope and a future. That is why I know God will give me victory and, in the end, people will rejoice in the Lord knowing that He is my shelter and they will praise Him for what He has done. Have an awesome day, my friend, remember this and meditate on this all day – “What shall we say about such wonderful things as these? If God is for us, who can ever be against us?”.
