A
reminder for today
Fear
of the LORD is the foundation of wisdom. Knowledge of the Holy One results in
good judgment. (Proverbs 9:10)
Knowing God means to know the three part Trinity that is
God. Jesus came and defeated death as He took all your sins away. He confirmed
the end of His mission when He said "It
is finished!" (John 19:30). He gave His life for you and me. God send
us the Helper (The Holy Spirit) to guide us and teach us and He is also known
as the Comforter, Counsellor and
Advocate. He is the one to comfort us when we are hurt and to give us the
wisdom and advice we need to get back on our feet. The Spirit also “bears
witness” with our spirits that we belong to Him and thereby assures us of
salvation. Knowing God completely and the continuous desire to know more of Him
will result in good judgement which means that His complete presence in our
lives will affect us on all our levels of living. To fear Him and seek Him is
the root of wisdom. Wisdom will multiply
your days and add years to your life. If you become wise, you will be the one to benefit. If you scorn wisdom, you
will be the one to suffer (Verses 11-12).
