It has been a busy day and all day this word was in my head –
“Restore” (Renew, rebuild). Psalm 23 is probably still my most favourite Psalm
in the Bible and one of the most powerful pieces of scripture. What I feel the
Holy Spirit say today is all about doing a new thing with which God is already
busy with. He is restoring what was lost and what was taken and what was
stolen. He is moving all things in place to bring to existence His will and His
way. He is the great Shepherd. In Him lies content and peace. He is the healer
and restorer. He guides and leads us to do His will and to bring glory to His
name and show a lost world a living God. I will not fear nor will I be alone.
He is our protector and our fortress of safety. He is the way and the truth and
the life and life in abundance. Look at the flowers, how much more precious are
you to God. My life overflows with mercy and grace and goodness. I want to be
in the presence of my God always. I long for Him as the deer longs for water
and even when my path is crumbling, He makes my feet like that of a deer so I can
walk in difficult places. I look up to the very mountains that surrounds me and
He is the light in the darkness and the strength in my heart. All night I may
be restless and heartbroken but, in the morning, I find joy in His presence because
He said look for me with all your heart and you will find me. Have an awesome
day, my friend.
