The previous week has been busier than before. Fatigue sets
in and I battle to get out of bed, and my work is endless at this stage. Some days
I am overwhelmed by my responsibilities and God just brings me peace in such an
awesome way. I do not know what your week was like but one thing I can tell you
is that the closer I draw to God the more intense my battles become. The enemy works
just as hard to push me of my purpose and to end my calling. So instead of
giving in and letting the week slip by I wrote all my day-to-day messages today
to keep you updated with what the Holy Spirit puts in my heart each day. Feel free
to read my blog and stay updated as we continue in our 91 days of victory. Now I
am not writing this blog to tell you of all the nice promises in the Bible and
pick only the ones that will motivate you. In fact, I will always tell it as I receive
it and I will not sugar coat the Word of God. Yes, there are many promises of
prosperity in the Bible but one thing I can say with certainty is that to receive
victory you will have to face tribulation and Jesus said it – you will have to
carry your cross. This morning this verse simply states as follow as I paraphrase:
“Lord, where are you? I have come to you for protection and to not be disgraced,
yet those who are against me tell lies and their words deceive people to my
very shame. Please Lord, move now and save your servant. I am obedient to you,
and I continue to try and do all that is right. Yes, I make mistakes and yes, I
am not perfect, but you make me perfect for I am saved by your grace, and your
mercies renews every day. Please hear my prayer and rescue me from my enemy. Be
my rock of protection and my fortress of safety so that the arrows of the enemy
cannot harm me nor those I love. Save me Lord, for I cannot do this on my own
but with you all things are possible.” Have and awesome day, my friend.
