Today's thought - 03 July 2026 (Journey on)

I myself will be the shepherd of my sheep, and I will give them rest. I will seek out the lost one, bring back the stray, bandage the injured, and heal those that are sick. I will watch over the fat and healthy of the flock. I will be a true, caring shepherd to them. I, Lord Yahweh, have spoken. (Ezekiel 34:15-16)

I just love this verse. Our church’s vision is to win the lost at any cost and to plunder hell and populate heaven. At this stage in my life, I can honestly not imagine a moment without the Lord and His strength and His guidance and His protection over me.

More so do I desire that everyone should experience God in all areas and challenges in their lives. God is literally moving mountains in my life as we had an amazing day in court yesterday and literally all the weapons that was formed did not prosper.

My dear friend, God is good and His mercies renews each day. Each day we are showered by His grace and love and each day in our lives is a gift.

We all have challenges and battles and sometimes those are a journey that God takes us through to prepare us for what lies ahead and even in the bad God creates good because the battles that we face are not only for our lives but our obedience and trust in the process will affect other also. For in our faith lies our testimony and, in our testimony, God can flow streams of living water through us.

Just as Abraham never saw his promise in full, which by the way still stands today, we also might not see the ripple effects of our obedience.

Just as Josef trusted God and was hated by those close to him, sold into slavery and even when he continued to do what God placed on his heart, he was constantly facing obstacles and deceit and finally ended in jail for a number of years before he was released and placed into the very position God showed him when he had his dreams. Josef said in forgiveness to those who sold him into slavery, that what was intended to destroy him, God used for good.

In the same way God will use what comes into our lives to destroy us, for good and it will touch lives because we can help other better once we have been through the storm.

My dear friend, nothing that we do for God is insignificant and God can take anyone willing and change people. Therefore, more so the importance of my verse. God will be the Shepherd and He will save His people, and He will give them rest and heal them.

David writes in Psalm 23:3, “He restores my soul; He leads me in the paths of righteousness For His name’s sake”.

God will step in and change your circumstances and heal and restore you in all that you face. Please just trust Him and stay on your path.

Have an awesome day.
