Reflections of faith (No thought) – 28 January 2019

Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof. (Matthew 6:34)

I saw this verse on my ex-wife’s profile on WhatsApp and I thought I will ask the Holy Spirit to guide me in opening it a little for her. Maybe, just maybe she will see what I see and just maybe she will open her heart and allow the Lord to change her heart and guide her. Even though I do not think she will ever return or consider it, I keep her in my prayers.

Jesus spoke to the people and in this passage, He guides them by telling them how to pray emphasizing the importance of prayer and taking your worries and concerns to God. The passage ends with this verse where Jesus tells them to not worry about tomorrow. In the previous verses He compared our trust and faith to the birds and the flowers. Jesus makes the statement where He says that we should look at the birds. They never plant or harvest and yet the Lord takes care of them and then Jesus says are we not more important to God.

Jesus says that God knows what we need, and He will provide in that. And then He makes this statement: “But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.”

We need to seek God and seek His will. We need to turn our lives over to Him so that we can be restored and renewed. Then we will see clearly. With God all things are possible, and He can change any situation and renew any heart. It is us that turns away from Him. Anger and hate are the way of the enemy, but forgiveness and understanding are God’s way. When we seek Him and listen to Him, and by this I say we follow Him and do His will. His will is to sin no more and to forgive and to love. Then all these things will be added to our lives.

Then we will give no thought of tomorrow, because our hearts and our trust are in the one that created everything. Do you really want to turn from God’s will and follow your own, because then you will worry and you will never have rest nor peace. If you truly seek God first you will see how wrong, you are in your sin and you will turn from it. That righteousness is living a clean and forgiven life. A life where you are a child of God. Once you turned from your sin, Jesus makes you are new person, just as He made me a new person.

My heart belongs to God, and all I want is to heal the little hearts of my boys. But luckily God is busy with that. His amazing love and grace are so visible over them. Therefore, to my ex-wife I say this: how long before you see. I will keep you in my prayers. To you guys reading my blog I will add this: God loves you guys and I pray that you will be safe and that you will be blessed. Come with me as we keep putting God first and seek His will in every moment of every day.

Have an awesome day dear friend of Jesus.

Reflections of faith (Only Me) – 25 January 2019

Turn again, and tell Hezekiah the captain of my people, Thus saith the LORD, the God of David thy father, I have heard thy prayer, I have seen thy tears: behold, I will heal thee: on the third day thou shalt go up unto the house of the LORD. (2 Kings 20:5)

Today I am just plain tired. I think all the pain and stress finally took its toll on my body and spirit and what is left is a man tired and fed up with all the lies and deceit. I have forgiven and I am busy moving on. Only me can do the final step in accepting God’s forgiveness as I have forgiven them. Only me can take this step towards redemption and recovery. Only me can open up so that the Lord can heal and destroy the chains.

In the end it is only me and my two boys that should be my focus and loving them is all I want to do. And all I want is my kids. All I need is them to be with me and that will remain my prayer if that is God’s will. The Lord says that He has heard my prayers and He has seen my tears and He will heal me. He will take away my burden and I will see His grace and He will be glorified throughout the world.

You see God sees what each one of us faces and the challenges we go through. All we need to do is to trust Him and allow Him to work in His time. Jesus said that His burden is light, and His yoke is easy to carry, meaning He will take care of it and all we need to do is trust Him and have faith. It may seem impossible at the moment, but it will change, and you will see God’s glory and you will praise His name among the nations.

Be strong and be filled with faith as we ask the Holy Spirit to fill us with His presence and just restore our strength and reconcile us with God’s plan.

Have an awesome day dear friend of Jesus.

Reflections of faith (Only God) – 24 January 2019

In God have I put my trust: I will not be afraid what man can do unto me. (Psalm 56:11)

Ah yes, yesterday I said what more can go wrong. Well, guess what, the one person that was my stability and my sanity here at work resigned. She is the one I go to when my walls start to fall and when the voices in my head gets to load. She is the one person I knew would always have my back.
Now, she is going and at this awesome time in my little world. Well, what can I say? I am at a loss for words and basically stunned from shock. How much more can one person take? Well if you look at Job and what he went through I assume I can take a lot more. So, yes, yesterday was another crap day in my constant battle with the enemy.

Last night as I dropped to my knees I had only one question: “Why?” and to be honest I do not know, and I do not have the answer why I am in this torment and why I am hit by waves and waves of attacks every day. The enemy thought he had me and then I rose again and now he is throwing in everything. There is only one problem here. I am still filled with faith and I know God is with me. My trust remains in Him and I am not afraid of what man or the enemy can do to me.

Yesterday my ex threatened to make a case against me, and I simply said she must go ahead and do it. I hear more stuff each day and to be honest I am tired of that. I have forgiven her, and I have released her. She has to live with what she did, and I have to go on with my life.

Finally, I want to tell you that there is no one like our God. Nothing in this world can stand against us and nothing can separate us from Him. Nothing can defeat us, and nothing can break us. Jesus stands beside us and He is fighting for us. Only God can pull me through this time and only God will change my circumstances.

Therefore, in God have I put my trust and I will not fear anything.

Have an awesome day dear friend of Jesus.
