Today's thought - 26 June 2026 (Up and down)

Do you also have ups and downs? One day you feel like you can move all the mountains and the next day you struggle to get out of bed. I have those and somedays I just want to stay in bed, and I have to drag myself out to start my morning exports so the figures for the day are uploaded and ready.

I wish I had this waterproof five-point plan that you can apply each day and poof you are ready to go. Imagine that. In fact, some days it feels like do not stop at start and do not collect your hundred dollars. Go straight to jail (misery).

The Bible is pretty clear on this. Jesus said if the world hates you, remember it hated Him first. The enemy is always walking around like a lion ready to consume you and we are like sheep to the slaughter every day. Jesus said you will have tribulation.

Yes, I know it is very somber and if that was my attempt to a five-point get-up and go plan, I think I have lost you. What did Jesus also say?

He said that He overcome this world. He said that He is sending us a helper. He said He will never leave us nor forsake us and that He is with us to the end. He said that He intercedes for us daily. He said that He defeated death, sin and the enemy and that He was given all authority in heaven and earth which He gives to us.

My dear friend, I am going to let you ponder this. The widow whom Elisha said to fill all her jars with oil in 2 Kings 4 did not stop getting oil. They stopped bringing jars. The oil from her jar did not stop until they gave up and could not find more jars.

God’s mercy and His love and His blessings does not run out. We stop trusting Him and we lose faith. God is unlimited. That is why Jesus said in Matthew 6, “Therefore do not be like them. For your Father knows the things you have need of before you ask Him”.

Your jar is not empty, my friend. Just keep trusting and let God show you the way.

Have an awesome day.
