Today Reminder – 31 May 2016

 A reminder for today
The Good News is about his Son. In his earthly life he was born into King David's family line, and he was shown to be the Son of God when he was raised from the dead by the power of the Holy Spirit. He is Jesus Christ our Lord. (Romans 1:3-4)

Every person on this earth lives by choice. God gave us the freedom to make our own choices and sometimes those choices can make things better and sometimes we make the wrong choices. To follow Jesus is a choice and then it becomes a way of life. You cannot follow Jesus and hate another. You cannot follow Jesus if you do not adhere to the guides God has given us in the Bible. You cannot follow Jesus with a vengeful heart. When we make the choice to follow Him we consciously break ourselves away from the sinful nature of man to inherit the loving nature of Jesus.

My dear friend, Paul start His letter with referencing to the good news. When we accept Jesus we become the good news for in Him we have lost all sin and found redemption. In Him we lose all fear and find freedom. In Him we have purpose and in Him we have faith and hope. All is not lost, because it is never too late to let Jesus remake you. Imagine living a life where you have no more fears and no more worries and no more sin. It is the life we find in Him. It is a humbling lifestyle yet it is so rewarding. To follow Jesus completely is to have complete contempt. He is Jesus Christ our Lord.

Lord, please take this humble heart and renew it today. Fill it with your love as we give our lives to you. In Jesus name.
Have an awesome day dear friend of Jesus

Cheers

Today Reminder – 30 May 2016

 A reminder for today

We had to celebrate this happy day. For your brother was dead and has come back to life! He was lost, but now he is found!' (Luke 15:32)

Life is all about changes and challenges. Sometimes we find joy and sometimes we fail and we find unhappiness. Sometimes our journeys lead us over mountains and sometimes we walk on roads. I have often written to you about journeys and how life is filled with different journeys. What is in a journey? We often wonder away and walk through darkness to find light. Our journeys sometimes lead us into storms, but what do we do when we find the end of our journey?

I have walked way for a while. Some may say you call it soul searching and some would call it running away from destiny. Some would call it lost and some would see it as opportunity. The fact remains that God never leaves us and so I found myself walking beside a stream in my mind. It was a beautiful little stream that winds and crinkles through a lush and evergreen forest. At times it widened and became a river with rocks and rapids and sometimes it will settle into a lake like river where you could see your reflection in the water as you walk on. I kept walking with my head down as if I am in shame for what I have done. The mistakes I have made and the sins of my life. A bright light reflected of the water and forced me to look up. To look up and to find myself out of the forest. The light reminded me of the ever present God and the life He wants us to live.

So today I want to remind you that no one is lost until it is the end. There is always hope and God never gives up. That is why there is a huge celebration when a lost one is found. When someone who has fallen by the pressures of life and now stands up again to walk their journey with the Lord.

Lord, I pray that your Word will break walls today and bring people back to you. In Jesus name.

Have and awesome day dear friend of Jesus

Cheers
