Today Reminder – 10 March 2016

A reminder for today
The king said to Daniel, "Truly, your God is the greatest of gods, the Lord over kings, a revealer of mysteries, for you have been able to reveal this secret." Then the king appointed Daniel to a high position and gave him many valuable gifts. He made Daniel ruler over the whole province of Babylon, as well as chief over all his wise men. (Daniel 2:47-48)

When God takes control lives change. God gave Daniel the answer to the king’s dream and the wisdom to translate it. In other words God gave Daniel a talent which he used for the glory of God and it rewarded him. Sometimes changes in our careers come over our paths and we might see the new challenges as a problem or something that will be hard and difficult. Sometimes these changes make us negative and we complain about it. God allows things to come over our paths so that we can use our talents combined with His guidance to succeed where other might think we will fail. It is in these rare opportunities that we can show God to other, because when we succeed when we were supposed to fail and we give thanks to God, people will know that our God is a living God and like the king the will say: , "Truly, your God is the greatest of gods”

So today I want to remind you that you should stop and think for a moment before you complain about challenges in your life, because it might just be the challenge that will show God to people and change their lives forever. It might just be the moment where you will break the hold of the enemy on other people’s lives and lead them to Jesus. So do not allow the enemy to push you to give up, but instead let the Lord guide you so that you can be victorious over all that awaits you today and show His glory to the world.

Lord, give us the strength to never give up. In Jesus name.

Let every knee bow down and every voice declare that Jesus Christ is the Lord.

Have and awesome day dear friend of Jesus.

Cheers

Today Reminder – 8 March 2016

A reminder for today
And it is not because I am wiser than anyone else that I know the secret of your dream, but because God wants you to understand what was in your heart. (Daniel 2:30)

Everybody has dreams. What is your dream, my friend? What do you dream about and what lies deep within your heart? King Nebuchadnezzar had a very disturbing dream and no one could explain this dream to him, which made him furious. He wanted to execute all the wise men in the kingdom. God gave Daniel the answer to the dream so Daniel was able to tell the king what his dream meant and what awaited his kingdom.

Go surely works in many different ways. Sometimes God speaks to us directly and sometimes He uses someone else to direct us and sometimes God uses dreams to speak to us. It is our responsibility to measure it against His Word and get confirmation from God to what He is telling us. I love to dream and you might call me a dreamer. I have always been an introvert and still today I do not have many friends, but I do love to dream. So today I dream about you so that means you are in my thoughts. I do hope all is well with you and that you have all that you need. I hope you are succeeding against your challenges and I do hope that you are happy, my friend. I do not know your circumstances, but I do know the God that you love so much. I do not know what you are facing, but I know what our God is capable of. I do not know your dark moments, but I surely know the light of this world.

So today I want to tell you that it is not because I have a direct line to God, but because God wants you to know what is in His heart. He wants you to know how much He loves you and how important you are to Him. He wants you to remember how special you are and how perfect you are. He wants to give you your dreams and let you live in His glory so that this world will know that He is God and He has spoken over your life. Come and let us dream today about a world where God is worshipped everywhere and a word where there is no hate and jealousy and a world where love rules and lives in everyone. Let us dream.

Lord, hear our dreams and make our dreams come true. In Jesus name.

Let every knee bow down and every voice declare that Jesus Christ is the Lord.

Have and awesome day dear friend of Jesus.

Cheers

Today Reminder – 7 March 2016

A reminder for today
At the end of the ten days, Daniel and his three friends looked healthier and better nourished than the young men who had been eating the food assigned by the king. (Daniel 1:15)

Daniel did not want to eat the food that the king provided. He was determined not to defile himself so he spoke to the chief of staff and asked him that they will allow them not to eat this. The attendant was afraid that if the four men looked paler and thinner than the rest, that he would be killed. So Daniel said that he should put them on a test for ten days and let them eat only vegetables and drink water and after the ten day he can decide. So at the end of the ten days they looked healthier than the men who ate the king’s food.

This is what the Lord wants to remind you today. He wants you to know that when you take a stand for Him He will bless everything you do. The Lord wants us to remember that it is not an easy life that we chose but we will see great victories when we stay committed to Him and follow His voice and path. We may have chosen a difficult path but in the end we will be much better than those who took the easy way out. Remember that God’s time is different to our time and that He will give us all we need at the right time.

Lord, today we want to realign our ways with your ways so that we can remain solid as we stand firmly on your foundation. Let us stand up for you and fight for you. In Jesus name.

Let every knee bow down and every voice declare that Jesus Christ is the Lord.

Have and awesome day dear friend of Jesus.

Cheers

Today Reminder – 4 March 2016

A reminder for today
Then he said to me, "Speak a prophetic message to the winds, son of man. Speak a prophetic message and say, 'This is what the Sovereign LORD says: Come, O breath, from the four winds! Breathe into these dead bodies so they may live again.'" (Ezekiel 37:9)

The “Valley of the dry bones” is a very familiar peace in the Bible. God took Ezekiel away to a valley filled with dry bones of the dead. Then God told Ezekiel to speak a prophetic message over the bones and they came to life combining the bones to create complete skeletons and then flesh grew back to make them human again. And finally God told Ezekiel to speak another prophetic message so that they will be filled with breath and live again.

This is quite an interesting verse as it prophetically describes how the Jewish people will return to their land and live in it again. There is also a huge focus on the Lord, because the Lord will bring them back so that they will know He is our God and that He has spoken.

How does this bring me to a reminder for you for today? Well the Lord is giving me a picture of how He restores us when we are broken and exhausted. You see just as He brought those dead bones to life, the Lord wants you to know that He will take your broken and exhausted body and rebuild it by replacing all your energy with Godly energy and then He will breathe over you filling you with life giving breath so that you will stand up again and face anything that comes your way with Godly authority.

Do not fear dark and difficult times, my friend, just remember that your dry bones will be restored into a new fighting fit warrior and everyone will know that the Lord our God is the only living God.

Lord, renew and replace our tired and exhausted bodies with your strength and power so that we can face all that is waiting us in this day. In Jesus name.

Let every knee bow down and every voice declare that Jesus Christ is the Lord.

Have and awesome day dear friend of Jesus.

Cheers

Today Reminder – 3 March 2016

A reminder for today
And I will give you a new heart, and I will put a new spirit in you. I will take out your stony, stubborn heart and give you a tender, responsive heart. And I will put my Spirit in you so that you will follow my decrees and be careful to obey my regulations. (Ezekiel 36:26-27)

I am so tired. This update has drained a lot from us and the nature of the work is very sensitive and affects our tax calculations. This on its own places another huge burden on me since I know how careful we should be. At this stage it feels as if it just does not want to stop, because just as I think we covered everything something else finds its way out and then it is another difficult change that needs to be considered and implemented. You can just imagine how this creates friction and irritation among us. Luckily the Lord seems to find a way to get me calm again and to open my eyes to a solution for each and every challenge thus far. So even though I am at my end I am so blessed by the way the Lord has guided and carried me this far.

So today the Lord wants to remind us that when we give our hearts to Him, He will give us a new heart and a new spirit. He will remove the old stubborn heart and replace it with a responsive heart that responds to Him instantly. Then He places His Spirit in us to guide us and lead us and to strengthen us through our journey. We are new and newly transformed to His perfection. We are made holy for in us lives a Holy Spirit.

I have seen the Lord do the impossible through me in my life and I am sure He will do more through you. Keep standing, my friend, and keep fighting because you are unbeatable. Your success will resonate through the night skies as it glorifies His awesome name. Stand with me today as we take our new hearts and touch the world around us.

Lord, take this old heart and replace it with your new one so that I will respond to you at any given moment and reflect your glory through all that I do. In Jesus name.

Let every knee bow down and every voice declare that Jesus Christ is the Lord.

Have and awesome day dear friend of Jesus.

Cheers
