Today Reminder – 28 April 2017

A reminder for today
Abraham reasoned that if Isaac died, God was able to bring him back to life again. And in a sense, Abraham did receive his son back from the dead. (Hebrews 11:19)

Yesterday was a public holiday here in South Africa and I must admit I did not mind at all. I am currently reading Hebrews 11 and the whole passage is about faith. Paul goes into detail explaining faith. One of the most amazing acts of faith in the Bible is probably Abrahams test when God told him to sacrifice his son. Abraham’s faith was so strong that he knew God would not let his son die. When you look at this man’s trust and how he did not hesitate for a moment when God gave him a task was just amazing. It reminds me of when Jesus said that with faith we will move mountains. Jesus walked on water and calmed the storm. He cured people and brought people back to life to display faith and the power of faith to us.

Why are we here? Why do we wake up each day and carry on with fight? It is simple. Our faith is in God and He is the very reason we do not give up. When we unite, we can change this world. It will be much like the faith of Abraham and how God gave Isaac back to him. When we trust God and have faith in Him by uniting in prayer and seeking His will, He will restore our lands and give it back to us. He will change the hearts of those currently lost and they will return to Him. Jesus asked his disciples why they had so little faith. He was angered at their reluctance to have complete faith in Him. Jesus responded, "Why are you afraid? You have so little faith”

Then Jesus said to the disciples, "Have faith in God. I tell you the truth, you can say to this mountain, 'May you be lifted up and thrown into the sea,' and it will happen. But you must really believe it will happen and have no doubt in your heart. (Mark 11:22-23)

Lord, unite all the Christians of this world so that we will stand together in prayer. I pray for change in lands, change in our cities and change in our schools. I pray that you will be glorified throughout the entire world and that the enemy will fear our faith and flee from us. In Jesus name.

Have an awesome day, dear friend of Jesus.

Cheers

Today Reminder – 27 April 2017

A reminder for today
By faith we understand that the entire universe was formed at God's command, that what we now see did not come from anything that can be seen. (Hebrews 11:3)

Faith, what is faith to you? To me faith is waking up in the morning. Faith is going to the gym and taking the kids to school. Faith is having something to eat and going to work. Faith is not a nice word that I throw around my Pharisee friends to impress them. Faith is not something forced down on other. Faith is my way of life. Faith is my love for Jesus and for my children. Faith is my trust in God even when there are protests and violence in my country. Faith is my hope for what awaits me in eternity. Faith is you and faith is all the people we know. Faith is building and growing. Faith is investing and gaining. Faith is life and life is faith in God.

Where is your faith and what builds your faith? My faith is Jesus Christ. He is the foundation of my faith and the path I walk. I do not need to see Him, to know He is there. I do not need proof, because He is my proof. I do not worry nor do I question Him, because of my faith in Him. His ways are above my ways and His plans are above my plans. I will simply stay the course and follow His will and listen to His voice, because of my faith.

Therefore, it is time that we walk by faith. Live by faith and talk about faith. It is time that we unite and stand against evil in faith. Come with me today as we take Jesus to the world. In the end every knee will bow and every tongue will confess that Jesus is the Lord.

Lord, I pray that you increase our faith and strengthen us for the day ahead. In Jesus name.

Have an awesome day, dear friend of Jesus.

Cheers

Today Reminder – 26 April 2017

A reminder for today
But we are not like those who turn away from God to their own destruction. We are the faithful ones, whose souls will be saved. (Hebrews 10:39)

Those pour atheists. Can you believe that people in today’s modern world with all the books and research that we have still think there is no God? It must be hard to be an atheist with questions like where do I come from and then try to explain life by a big bang. Then they still have no idea where the big bang came from. It must be really confusing or is it. The fact remains as long as the world seems nicer than the truth we find in Jesus Christ, they will never change. Atheists are simply people stuck in a lie that was made up by a relentless enemy and it is sad to see so many good people influenced by the same lie.

For me it is impossible to even consider that there is no God. I just have to look at the complexity of my DNA and how laminin looks and works. The most important property of laminins is their ability to easily bind to each other and to other proteins. This makes laminin a critical means of holding tissues and organs together. Laminin looks like a cross, the very cross that Jesus was crucified on. This building block that holds us together resembles Jesus that forms the core of our faith. This is enough proof for me. Why do you need more when life itself is all you need to see and know God exists and He is alive.

Therefore, we are not like those that seek only their own glory that will inevitably lead to destruction. We are the faithful ones whose souls will be saved.

Lord, you are my God and you are all that I need. I live for you alone. Please open the eyes of the lost and let them see the truth and deliver them from the lies of the enemy. Let us walk by faith and show your light to all. In Jesus name.

Have an awesome day, dear friend of Jesus.

Cheers
