Today Reminder – 30 November 2016

A reminder for today
For God wanted them to know that the riches and glory of Christ are for you Gentiles, too. And this is the secret: Christ lives in you. This gives you assurance of sharing his glory.(Colossians 1:27)

Christ lives in you. What does the world see when they look at you? What do they think when they look at your actions and what do they say when they talk about you? If you are ever called that holy one with the bible under your arm. Well that is not a bad thing, in fact that is great, because you are carrying the Lord with you. Some people will admire your passion for Jesus but other will be threatened by your faith. And these lost ones are unfortunately the ones we must focus on. So allow the enemy to confuse them and make them say nasty things, because in the end they will either find their way of they will be very sorry.

So today we are a day away from December. And I am just about done with all my packing. Exciting times awaits us and I don’t think I am too excited about our new home loan and the monthly installment, but I trust the the Lord that it will all be fine. My faith in in Jesus Christ and I live for Him. He is in me and around me and He is always with me. Even now when the new burdens of 2017 seem to be difficult I will continue to walk in my faith and show Him too all I meet.

May the the creator of heaven and earth bless your day and may His presence in you shine like the morning sun.

Lord, thank you for the wonderful rain that you blessed us with yesterday. Bless us in the same way so that we will grow in our faith and mirror your image to a very bad world. In Jesus name.

Have an awesome day dear friend of Jesus.

Cheers

Today Reminder – 29 November 2016

A reminder for today
Yet now he has reconciled you to himself through the death of Christ in his physical body. As a result, he has brought you into his own presence, and you are holy and blameless as you stand before him without a single fault. (Colossians 1:22)

Pack, pack, pack what a challenge to take all our belongings and box them for the move ahead. In the movies they always make it look so easy, until you are faced with it yourself. In the movies it is always mere minutes to move whereas it is taking me days to box our belongings and just as you think the end is near, it is not. Luckily my two little boys are helping so much while watching television. I pack in and they pack out.

Sometimes life can feel like a move. You fill yourself with all the good things of the Word and the enemy just comes by and unpacks it all by temptation. This makes us think that we might be wasting God’s time and we often feel like a failure. This wonderful time of the year can cause many Christians to stumble and fall, because of all the office parties and desires that the world advertises. So we start with such good intentions and soon we fall.

The fact is that you have been reconciled to God through Jesus Christ. You have been bought and you are no longer a slave to desires and false ideas of a fallen enemy. You are holy and blameless as you stand before Him without fault.

So today I challenge you to forget the mistakes and celebrate the life of a free person in the house of the Lord. You are His child and He loves you more than anything. You are perfect just as you are and your box may feel empty today, but believe me the Lord will reign down in your life and fill your cup to the brim.

Lord, we ask that you reconcile us again and fill us with your Holy Spirit. In Jesus name.

Have an awesome day dear friend of Jesus.

Cheers

Today Reminder – 28 November 2016

A reminder for today
Christ is the visible image of the invisible God. He existed before anything was created and is supreme over all creation, for through him God created everything in the heavenly realms and on earth. He made the things we can see and the things we can't see—such as thrones, kingdoms, rulers, and authorities in the unseen world. Everything was created through him and for him. (Colossians 1:15-16)

How was you weekend, my friend? We are moving to a new home and this weekend we started to pack. Gosh, I think after this move we will have much less stuff, because I am going to bless other with some of the unnecessary stuff that we love to hoard and we never use them as we hoped we would. This Sunday was our “Thankful Sunday”. Our church does this every year as we look back at the year that now comes to an end and we reflect back on what God has done for us. We write down what we trust God for in the year to come and we show our gratitude to an awesome God. So for a moment I was lost in all the events of this year and I realized how much God loves us. As I started to think of all that He did for me and my family I was just out of words, for He is just amazing. But some might come to this part of the year and look back and think that God abandoned them. They might not feel that there is anything to be grateful for. You see victory leads to gratitude and gratitude leads to victory. So we need to overcome the challenges we face is order to see His hands at work and then that should make us grateful in what the Lord has done. This gratitude will make us stronger and so we will be more victorious in life. I believe that we should always be grateful and tell God about it. We must glorify Him always for all He does. Even in our hardest moments we should sing praises and be thankful. Paul, in his darkest moments praised God and he was thankful. If we do not feel the same it is because he saw something that we are still missing.

He saw that Jesus is the visible image of an invisible God. He existed before anything was created and is supreme over all creation, for through him God created everything in the heavenly realms and on earth. He made the things we can see and the things we can't see—such as thrones, kingdoms, rulers, and authorities in the unseen world. Everything was created through him and for him.

So today, just be grateful. Let the joy of Jesus Christ be the light that flows from you.

Lord, today I am just grateful. Thank you for all the wonderful people all over the world that reads you blog and shares in your glory. Thank you for all that you do for all of us each day. I pray that you will be the light in our darkest moments so that we will see you and be thankful for what you do. In Jesus name.

Have an awesome day dear friend of Jesus.

Cheers
