Today Reminder (Irony) – 31 October 2017

A reminder for today
And God saw every thing that he had made, and, behold, it was very good. And the evening and the morning were the sixth day. (Genesis 1:31)

Here’s science at its best. Physicists at CERN are working to determine why the equal amounts of matter and antimatter in the universe haven't annihilated each other. In their opinion we should not exist, in fact the universe should not exist. Irony! So, God created it all and in this God, did things that will baffle us when we discover it so that we get confirmation that He created it all. He made it and He designed it. The impossibilities and unexplainable parts are there so that we can know God made it.

What amazes me is that these intelligent people are still trying to prove the whole big bang theory and that people actually believe that. When you read how they say it all came to be you are more convinced that God is the creator, because in their arguments they accept the impossible, yet they do not accept God. Again, this is irony. That is exactly why Paul said in 1 Corinthians 1:18 For the message of the cross is foolishness [absurd and illogical] to those who are perishing and spiritually dead [because they reject it], but to us who are being saved [by God’s grace] it is [the manifestation of] the power of God.

You see in the end all the lies of the enemy and the absurd arguments of the non-religious and atheistic groups will fall in pieces. In the end all their hot air will have no meaning and their lies will fade. God said in Isaiah 40 that the grass withers, the flower fades, But the word of our God stands forever.

All this will end, but we will not. We are saved by His grace and love and we will not perish with those who rejects the Lord. We will see His kingdom and we will live in the house of the Lord forever. They may laugh at us, they may reject our attempts, they may even try to destroy us, but they will see the Lord just as we will and in the end every knee will bow down and know that He is God and that He made it all.

Let us continue the good fight and keep trying to show the truth and save those before it is too late.

Lord, fill us again with your Holy Spirit and set a fire in us so that we will carry your word and your gospel with us and share it wherever we go. Help us so that we can help other. In Jesus name.

Have an awesome day, dear friend of Jesus.

Cheers

Today Reminder (BlackMonday) – 30 October 2017

A reminder for today
“And I give them eternal life, and they will never, ever [by any means] perish; and no one will ever snatch them out of My hand. My Father, who has given them to Me, is greater and mightier than all; and no one is able to snatch them out of the Father’s hand. I and the Father are One [in essence and nature].” (John 10:28-30)

Today is #BlackMonday as we unite against the evil of our country and we stand to stop #FarmMurders. In fact, we unite to stop the wrongs and the pain that is corrupting our country. There is so much that is currently hurting the people of South Africa and by the people I mean the ones that loves this country. The people that wants to see it flourish and grow to the amazing country it can be. There are many that will see today as racial but then there are so many that does not want to see our country become a true God fearing and God loving country for their own needs are higher than the needs of our people. We stand today because we had enough, and we stand because there are many that are too afraid because our government threatens them.

Today we unite once more as we humbly call on our Lord and God to free South Africa from oppression and hate. We unite so that the Lord will hear our prayers and show us the way so that we can hear His voice and change this country. We had enough, and we want no more hurt and no more suffering for the people of South Africa.

The Lord says that we are His sheep (children) and He gives us eternal life and none of us will perish (die). Meaning we will live forever in His kingdom. No one will ever snatch us from His hand. No one will ever take away what we have in Jesus. They may take our lives, but they will never take us from our true inheritance in Jesus Christ. Jesus says that He and the Father are one and God is greater and mightier than all. No one will ever take us from Him. With God we fear none and nothing for the Lord will deliver our enemies into our hands and He will give us back our freedom and our lives. He will restore this country and He will save us all, His children and by that, I mean all His children no matter your colour, your past or who you are.

Come with me today as we unite in prayer. Stand with me as we call upon the Lord to save us all. It is not only here in South Africa where God’s children are facing tribulation but all over the world. So, we unite for all and we humble beg our Lord to restore our nations.

Lord, today we unite in prayer and we call on you to save us. Lord come down and free us from the corrupt people that is destroying innocent lives. We are your people and we ask that you forgive our sins and hear our cries. Lord save your people. In Jesus name.

Have an awesome day, dear friend of Jesus.

Cheers

Today Reminder (The good fight) – 27 October 2017

A reminder for today
Fight the good fight of the faith [in the conflict with evil]; take hold of the eternal life to which you were called, and [for which] you made the good confession [of faith] in the presence of many witnesses. (1 Timothy 6:12)

It is a beautiful day here in South Africa. It was cloudy with a promise of rain but now it is mostly clear skies and still that promise of rain. I am following some amazing people on twitter and I love to read their tweets and some of their blogs. One of these awesome people is SJ Thomason (@Lead1225) and I encourage you to take a look at her site https://christian-apologist.com/ you will find some amazing stuff that will boost your faith and help with those questions our atheistic friends have. We share a like in works of J Warner Wallace (@jwarnerwallace) and I must say I love his books, they help a lot with the odd question or two.

Today I want to focus on the “good fight”. Paul wrote that our struggle is not against flesh and blood [contending only with physical opponents], but against the rulers, against the powers, against the world forces of this [present] darkness, against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly (supernatural) places. We are not fighting the person, we are fighting against the evil forces that is blinding people and leading them towards condemnation. Together we can defeat this evil by giving people the truth and letting them look at the facts and not the lies that the enemy wants them to believe.

It is so important that we stand united in this fight and keep each other in our prayers. Prayer is powerful and when we pray God will hear us and He will answer our prayers. Our fight is not a lost battle, but a battle that the enemy has already lost so all he has is the lies he creates in the weak hearts of man. You see the enemy preys on the weaknesses of man and arrogance and self-glorification is his favourite ones. In our humble responses to these lies the truth will set those lost hearts free and the Holy Spirit will open their eyes and hearts. Many atheists find the truth, so it is just a matter of time and the one you know will also find the path. Do not give up and do not let the enemy confuse you with the hatred and anger in people. Let God show you the true person that lies underneath all the pain and hatred. In every person there is a diamond waiting to be found.

Come with me today as we continue the good fight and break the enemy’s lies by giving the truth.

Lord, let your Holy Spirit help us to continue to equip ourselves with truth and facts so that we can help those who are lost in the lies of the enemy. In Jesus name.

Have an awesome day, dear friend of Jesus.

Cheers
