Today Reminder - 30 November 2012 (Friends)

A reminder for today
Moses' arms soon became so tired he could no longer hold them up. So Aaron and Hur found a stone for him to sit on. Then they stood on each side of Moses, holding up his hands. So his hands held steady until sunset. (Exodus 17:12)

A helping hand:

As long as Moses kept his hands in the air the army of Joshua defeated the army of the Amalek. Moses obviously became tired so Aaron and Hur stood by his side to help him.

In life we sometimes face a situation where we have to keep on going even when we become too tired. It is in these difficult times when we need a helping hand. Sometimes we need a hand and sometimes we can give a hand. Whatever the case is, it is God who sees our need and responds by sending someone or sending you.

My dear friend, God will need you from time to time to hold up the hands of your friends so that they can overcome the problems they face in their lives and be victorious. God will give you the wisdom and strength to hold them up and support them.

I pray that you will hear the Lord’s voice when He needs you to support someone and to be there in difficult times. I pray that you will be strong and that you will follow God’s direction in leading your friend to victory, in Jesus name.

Have an awesome day, dear friend of Jesus.

Cheers

Today Reminder - 29 November 2012 (With me)

A reminder for today
Moses named the place Massah (which means "test") and Meribah (which means "arguing") because the people of Israel argued with Moses and tested the LORD by saying, "Is the LORD here with us or not?” (Exodus 17:7)

The Lord is with you:

As soon as difficulty arrived in the Israelite camp the people complained to Moses and kept on telling him how terrible things were. It is interesting that they saw so many miracles and yet they kept on questioning the Lord.

My dear friend, the Lord wants me to confirm to you that He is with you. He is there right by your side taking each step you take with you. He wants you to remain confident and to keep your head high and be patient for His glory will be seen in your life. Don’t give and don’t let the troubles of life cloud your judgement and make you question God. He is and was and will always be.

I pray that the Lord will confirm His presence in your life and that He will boost your confidence and give you strength to remain patient, in Jesus name.

Even when I walk through the darkest valley, I will not be afraid, for you are close beside me. Your rod and your staff protect and comfort me. (Psalm 23:4)

Have an awesome day, dear friend of Jesus.

Cheers

Today Reminder - 28 November 2012 (Provide)

A reminder for today
That evening vast numbers of quail flew in and covered the camp. And the next morning the area around the camp was wet with dew. (Exodus 16:13)

Provide:

Then the LORD said to Moses, "I have heard the Israelites' complaints. Now tell them, 'In the evening you will have meat to eat, and in the morning you will have all the bread you want. Then you will know that I am the LORD your God.'"

The Lord provides for all our needs. It is so important that we humbly lay our needs before Him. God knows what we need and He will not abandon nor leave us, instead He will carry us when we are in need. God will always take care of you and do what is in your best interest. Sometimes we cannot understand nor explain the things that happen in our lives – God has a reason and in the end we will know that He is the Lord.

The Israelites complained to Moses and said that they lived better lives with more to eat when they were in Egypt. They had forgotten how badly they were treated as slaves and they had forgotten how God saved them from the Egyptians. We can so easily forget how God had already done so many wonders in our lives when we are faced with new obstacles.

My dear friend, the Lord will bring comfort in your life and in the lives of the people around you so that you will know that He is the Lord. Please trust His judgement and listen to His voice for when we listen and when we obey we will be healed by His mercy and love.

I pray that the Lord will touch your heart today and lift you up from where you are so that you will see His hand upon your life and feel His comfort as He brings peace into your home, in Jesus name.

Have an awesome day, dear friend of Jesus.

Cheers

Today Reminder - 27 November 2012 (Song)

A reminder for today
The LORD is my strength and my song; He has given me victory. This is my God, and I will praise Him— my father's God, and I will exalt Him! (Exodus 15:2)

Song and dance:

Then Miriam the prophet, Aaron's sister, took a tambourine and led all the women as they played their tambourines and danced. (Exodus 15:20) How was your week so far? Did you face any obstacles? I believe today is a day where we can sing and dance as we know God has and will give us victory.

My dear friend, God is our strength but He should also be our joy – our song and dance. Come with me today as we give Him glory for all that He has done and all that He continues to do in our lives. Let us sing and dance with thankful hearts to the glory of our King. Let us praise Him and exalt His name.

I pray that your feet will turn into dancing and that your heart will overflow with joy as you give thanks to the Lord our God, in Jesus name.

Have an awesome day, dear friend of Jesus.

Cheers

Today Reminder - 26 November 2012 (Paths)

A reminder for today
Then Moses raised his hand over the sea, and the LORD opened up a path through the water with a strong east wind. The wind blew all that night, turning the seabed into dry land. (Exodus 14:21)

Path:

My dear friend, God wants to open a path for you today that leads to Him. He wants to separate all that burdens you and carry you through so that you will walk through the storms of life on a dry bed safe and protected.

God wants to show His glory through you and through you He wants other to see that glory so that they may know that He is the Lord.

No matter where you find yourself on your life journey today, the Lord is there for you. He will cloud the sun from you so that you will not feel the heat and at night He will warm your heart so that you will not feel cold. He wants you to remember that He walks this journey with you, every step of the way and that He is the only way.

“I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one can come to the Father except through me.”

I pray that you will feel the comfort of His presence in every step you take today, in Jesus name.

Have an awesome day, dear friend of Jesus.

Cheers
