I look up to the mountains. This morning, I woke up and I am tired. It felt as if the very life is drained from me. Now looking at the day ahead and then what still needs to happen, I can tell you my motivation was rock bottom. I turned to the Lord, and I just humbled myself and asked Him for help. I cannot do this on my own.
I do not have the strength and the power to face what lies ahead and above all I am tormented with the battle of my daughter that keeps itself fresh in my subconscious. The Holy Spirit immediately said Psalm 121. As I opened my Bible and the words stared back at me. Where does my help come from? My help is from God who made the heavens and the earth.
I tell you I was just in awe of how wonderful and loving our God is and how He just moves. I stepped out of the house and into my calling. I spoke life and truth over the guys that I give food to, and the Holy Spirit gave me the words to speak into their lives so that somewhere they will change their lives and find Him.
My dear friend, do not take God’s promises lightly. Do not be afraid and do not worry about tomorrow. Our God is a God of miracles, and He loves to heal brokenness. Your day is going to be an awesome day, and you will see Him working in ways that will leave you speechless. I trust God with all of me, and I seek Him now more.
