I wrote to you earlier that God sees the heart of man and knows our ways, thoughts, desires, intentions and everything we do and speak. He keeps pressing it on my heart and this morning I think I am writing to myself again, well I think most mornings I am writing to myself. God is pressing it on my heart that what we do for Him must be from a pure and humble heart seeking to glorify Him and never for our own self or for the place or position or attention we might receive.
That is why it is so important to me that I share what the Holy Spirit puts in my heart more than my own ideas or thoughts. I am humble before an amazing and wonderful God who continues to do more in my life than what I think I deserve. To have you as my friend or family is more than a gift but a privilege and to be able to share God’s Word with you is more than a gift but something I value a lot and are honestly so grateful to be able to do.
Therefore, I urge you and myself to be obedient to God even when it hurts and mostly without seeking a benefit. Sometimes it is to be kind to a bad person or forgiving someone you still hold a grudge against or just accepting someone with their flaws and faults regardless of who or what they are. Jesus did not come for the great and wonderful leaders of the church, He came for the broken and hurt and lost and we should have the same mindset even if they are the very ones who hurt us.
So, beware of hypocrisy and stand firm on the Word of God for it is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. I pray that the Lord will keep you, guide you and bless you in everything you do today.
Have an awesome day, my friend.
