But Jesus said, "Peter, let me tell you
something. Before the rooster crows tomorrow morning, you will deny three times
that you even know me."
It is one of the easiest things to do, to deny that you
know Jesus. Peter did it and he followed Jesus every day. Just as Peter was
facing a typical worldly situation and came into a position where he was
challenged he chose to deny Jesus.
In our daily lives, how many times don’t we deny Jesus in
the circumstances that we face. Is it when among friends, or is it when we are
in trouble or even when we travel to work. Is it when we look at other or when
we are supposed to help or lend a hand? It can be so many places.
It is so important that you ask Jesus to give you strength
in these situations so you don’t deny Him. What you must remember is that He is
always with you and rising up in difficult situations brings glory to God and
can possibly touch the hearts of those that need’s to find Him.
It is in us that people see Jesus.
