You know I write
this blog every day or at least I try to write it every day and I always follow
what the Holy Spirit places on my heart, but I believe to make it real and to
share my life and my battles with you may help you. You see I am all but perfect
and I make mistakes all the time just like you. Paul writes in Romans 7, “I do
not understand what I do. For what I want to do I do not do, but what I hate I
do. And if I do what I do not want to do, I agree that the law is good”.
He really
goes into this matter as we are subject to our sinful nature, and we fall from time
to time. Now as I spoke to the Holy Spirit this morning, He said this to me, “He
(God) said, “Can I not do with you, Israel, as this potter does?” declares the
LORD. “Like clay in the hand of the potter, so are you in my hand, Israel”.
Now, God says that we are in His hands and is He not able to
form us as the potter forms the clay into a perfect pot for the very purpose we are designed. Is He not able to change us and form us into the person He saw
when He created us. Most certainly He is and the difference between a worldly
person and Godly person is that we run to God and not to the world and that is important.
When we make mistakes, we are vulnerable to the accusations of the enemy, but
we are also under the blood and forgiveness of our Lord Jesus Christ.
This does not mean we can sin all we like and that it is ok,
it means that we turn away from the world and towards God as He continues to form
us into His design for us. It means we turn from our sins and into obedience. It
means that we allow the Holy Spirit to change our hearts and renew our minds. It
means that we stop living in the flesh and start living more in the spirit.
My dear
friend again I say that we must work towards obedience and the will of God in
all that we do, thus striving to bring glory to His name and work to fulfill our
purpose and that is to share the Gospel and win the lost at any cost.
I leave you
with Joshua 1:7, “Be strong and very courageous. Be careful to obey all
the law my servant Moses gave you; do not turn from it to the right or to the
left, that you may be successful wherever you go”.
Have an awesome day, my friend.
