Today's thought - 23 June 2026 (Tribulation)

Ok, so today’s message is kind of a dual message. Two things are on my mind hence my very somber scripture, but I believe the Holy Spirit is placing this on my heart for a reason. So, here we go.

Ezekiel 32 is a prophetic message from the prophet Ezekiel that pronounces the fall and judgment of Egypt and its ruler, Pharaoh. It delivers a stern warning about the consequences of human pride and highlights that no earthly power, no matter how great, is exempt from God’s justice.

Now Jesus said in John 16:33, “These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world”. Now this scripture has pretty much become one that is daily on my mind since this whole court case started, but why today so much.

I wrote earlier in one my messages that I did not realize for some time how many people all over the world reads my blog and I have to emphasize this. It is and will always be an honour and a privilege to write to you my friend and please know that I do not take this lightly, but I understand the importance of sharing what God puts on my heart. Now with that in mind I also realise that many of you reading this blog are in countries where Christianity is not celebrated freely and that you are persecuted for your faith in Jesus Christ.

This makes writing to you even more important and sharing what God does in my life and in the lives or other more relevant. You see Paul writes in Romans 5, “And not only that, but we also glory in tribulations, knowing that tribulation produces perseverance; and perseverance, character; and character, hope. Now hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out in our hearts by the Holy Spirit who was given to us”.

You see my faith and my love of Christ has taken me through lies, deceit, loss, pain and even prison. Yet, in all of this I remain focused on the Lord my God and on Jesus Christ who saved me.

So, what I am trying to say is that we face tribulation and we go through stuff, but God’s Word remains unchanged and we must never live for this world but for the life after this. Yes, we may be persecuted and even killed but to live is Christ and to die is gain for we know that in the end we will live forever in the house of the Lord and all that we face now is but a mere moment.

Then part two, is simply in the end we will all stand before the judgment seat of God, and we will face His wrath for the things we have done. Do not underestimate your value in the kingdom of God but boldly live out your faith and save as many as you can. For one more salvation is one less lost.

I love you, my friend, and I know it is hard, but know this. God is with you all the way. I know this because I see it so clearly every day. No matter the outcome of my day, I will still praise His name. It shall be well.

Have an awesome day.
