I think
about my little girl today, basically all the time if you ask me but she has
been more on my mind since I woke and I am annoyed by the arrogance and the
lies and just the whole process. If it was up to me, o boy I can tell you there
would be a storm and thunder and lightning. I am reminded of John and James in
Luke 9:54, “When James and John saw this, they said to Jesus, “Lord,
should we call down fire from heaven to burn them up?”. Honestly, I feel like
that today, but Jesus did not approve of this nor would He approve of my
thoughts.
But we have this promise in Philippians 4, “Don’t worry
about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and
thank him for all he has done”. We can take our case before God and plead with
Him. Jesus told the parable of the persistent woman in Luke 18 and He said, “Even
he rendered a just decision in the end. So, don’t you think God will surely
give justice to his chosen people who cry out to him day and night? Will he
keep putting them off? I tell you, he will grant justice to them quickly! But
when the Son of Man returns, how many will he find on the earth who have
faith?”
This is very important because when we step into God’s court
and we lay our case before Him, He will be just and swift in His time and in
His anger, because God says that vengeance is His.
Therefore, my scripture today is Isaiah 54, “No weapon
turned against you will succeed”. So, nothing that this world brings against the
righteous children of God will succeed. It is by faith that we know this and
there are two vital thoughts I wish to leave with you.
One: Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the
evidence of things not seen (Hebrews 11:1).
Two: He replied, “Because you have so little faith.
Truly I tell you, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to
this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move. Nothing will be
impossible for you (Matthew 17:20).
Now faith is not what we see but what we hope for. In other
words what we plead with God in His courts and then by faith we will move this
mountain because God is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all
that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us.
My dear friend, ask and you shall receive. If you can believe,
all things are possible to Him who believes. Come with me today and let us
trust God in all our battles, challenges and troubles. He is a just and amazing
God and He will hear from the heavens, and He will come down and rescue us.
Have an awesome day.
