Today's thought - 03 June 2026 (Obedience)

So now there is no condemnation for those who belong to Christ Jesus.

My dear friend, I am guided by the Holy Spirit to Romans 8 today and after I was in the street this morning, I understand better. You see Paul writes in Romans 8 that there is no condemnation in Jesus and once we gave our lives to Him, we receive the Holy Spirit who daily guides and councils us and strengthens us. Therefore, we are not bound by our carnal (worldly) self anymore, but we now live by the spirit. The Holy Spirit in us convicts us when we do wrong guides us into doing better.

Now where am I going with this. Simply this – for over a year now I come every week and give food to these guys on the street and then I pray with them and I teach the gospel. This morning as I gave out food one of them gave up work time on a Sunday to go to church, the other guys all have Bibles even if they are old and beaten Bibles. The important thing is, they read them. Now this is all Holy Spirit. I am saying this again, this is all the Holy Spirit and more so am I even more grateful for the responsibility that God placed in my heart to reach out to these guys, for now there is no more condemnation for them but a better life through Jesus Christ and I am referring to the life after this one.

My dear friend, I have said it before, and I am saying it again. Nothing we do for God is ever insignificant or a waste. God can make all things work out for good for those who love Him, and that is my heart for these guys and for you. To love the Lord and to obey His Word and His commands. To walk with the power of the Holy Spirit and boldly live out the gospel of Jesus Christ.

My friend, when I say I love you I mean it in every sense of the word and I pray that the Lord Jesus will open all the doors that you need opened and close all the ones that you do not need. I pray that you will be filled by the Holy Spirit and that in this day you will have victory in all things and that all things will work out for good as God promises in His Word. Have an awesome day.
