Today's thought - 24 September 2026 (Oh how hard life is)

 

How are you my friend? I do hope you are well and that you will have the best day ever. Oh, the nay sayers and the gossipers and those complainers. Oh, how terrible life is and how hard it is for some. Haha, I am being sarcastic. Sorry, my day started early and I have not had my second cup of coffee.

We read in Psalm 1:1, “Oh, the joys of those who do not follow the advice of the wicked, or stand around with sinners, or join in with mockers”.

I find that in general people are negative and they are so good at influencing people and make them sing the same tune. You know that song they love to sing of how unfair life is and how they are just so disadvantaged and then all the things they want and how they struggle. Oh, my goodness and most of them own a house, drive a car, order takeout food and have lots of clothes to pick from.

You know what makes me wonder today is how hard it is for some people to hear the gospel and to apply the Word of God in their lives and then how easy it is for them to complain and how easy people are influenced by this. But they do not go to church or homecell or spend time in God’s Word.

That is why I chose to run from the gossipers and the negative crowd. I chose not to say the negative, but I take all that bothers me or gets to me in submissive prayer to the Lord. Now, I am not saying I am doing this right and that it is this one stop quick stop solution to all that you face. I am saying steer clear of saying the wrong thing and rather seek the guidance and wisdom of God in it. I am also not saying I have perfected this, but I find that this option always has a better outcome for me and for my day.

Remember: There is power in your words. What you say has a direct effect on your life. If you complain about your problem and you keep saying it is impossible or too much, you give that issue authority and power. But if you speak to it and you speak the Word of God you will have power over it. It is a small step, day by day, keep trying, keep focusing, coming back to the drawing board and trying again type of thing. By trying again and again you will eventually act out of repetition against the problem and speak life rather than death over it. It is a practice makes perfect mind over problem type of thing. You know the “you shall reap what you sow” result.

My dear friend, I am just worried that you will allow bad and negative things to steal your blessing and your joy. Do not let negative worldly people affect your day nor allow them to speak into your life. Rebuke the negativity and remove it from your life. You are not what the nay sayers and blame seekers say. You are not what the lies of the enemy try to say nor are you defined by what another think.

You are a child or God, a mighty warrior. An overcomer and a world changer. If the enemy keeps attacking you, it means he is afraid of what you can do. Step with me today into your purpose and into your calling and remind the enemy of his destiny. He has no power over you, and he has no place in your mind or in your life.

Jesus defeated that old devil and he knows it. Submit it all to God and resist the enemy.
