Today Reminder - 29 March 2012 (I can)

My prayer for you for today is that you will know there are no limitations in Jesus and that He will give you all the strength you need, in Jesus name.

Philippians 4:4-5 and 13
Always be full of joy in the Lord. I say it again—rejoice! Let everyone see that you are considerate in all you do. Remember, the Lord is coming soon. For I can do everything through Christ, who gives me strength.

I can do everything. My strength does not lie within my own body but my strength lies in Jesus and I will rejoice knowing that He provides me with enough to face each day and each situation. I will not be moved from my current course nor will I be distracted by the world for I am content with what the Lord has blessed me with and I am more than capable to face each day with all its glory and all its troubles. I will stand in the midst of stormy rain as it pours all over my life and I will rejoice, because my strength in in Jesus my anchor and my foundation. I will not look back and I will not be tricked by the enemy and all his accusations, but I will look ahead towards the coming light of Jesus, because I know He is coming soon.

I will seek the Lord in each moment and I will be grateful for each breath, I will share His glory and I will stand for what is right and oppose what is evil. I will love without boundaries and I will share without regret. I will walk and continue walking on my journey and I will spend more time with the Lord so that I will grow stronger in faith and committed to other.

I will ask the Lord to help me love Him more and I will fear God with and intense respect and vast love. I will become less and less and He will become more and more as each day passes. I will not give up, because my Lord and God is with me each step of the way and I will rejoice all over again.

For I can do everything through Christ, who gives me strength.

Have a super duper victorious day dear friend of Jesus.

Cheers

Just to remind you

When I say that 'I am a Christian', I am not shouting that 'I am clean living. I'm whispering 'I was lost, but now I'm found and forgiven.'  When I say 'I am a Christian', I don't speak of this with pride. I'm confessing that I stumble and need Christ to be my guide.   When I say 'I am a Christian', I'm not trying to be strong. I'm professing that I'm weak and need His strength to carry on.  When I say 'I am a Christian', I'm not bragging of success. I'm admitting I have failed and need God to clean my mess.  When I say 'I am a Christian', I'm not claiming to be perfect. My flaws are far too visible, but God believes I am worth it. When I say 'I am a Christian', I still feel the sting of pain. I have my share of heartaches, so I call upon His name. When I say 'I am a Christian', I'm not holier than you. I’m just a simple sinner who received God...

Today Reminder – 7 August 2014 (Day 5 – Return to Proverbs)

A reminder for today Honour the LORD with your wealth and with the best part of everything you produce. Then he will fill your barns with grain, and your vats will overflow with good wine. (Proverbs 3:9-10) When we realise that all we are and all that we are good at is a blessing from the Lord we soon see how we can honour Him with these wonderful talents. I give all the credit to the Lord for all that I accomplish and all that I do and I am humbled by the way He continues to give me wisdom in my work. The promise here is much greater than we realise. When we honour Him with all that we produce, He will fill our barns and let our vats overflow. This to me means that the more we honour Him in what we produce (do) the more He will bless what we do up to the extend where we will see His blessings and they will leave us completely overwhelmed. In the end all that we have comes from God and He will increase what we have when we seek Him above all and live to bring glory to Him. ...

Today Reminder (Boxes) – 9 November 2017

A reminder for today   I am the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last, the Beginning and the End [the Eternal One]. (Revelation 22:13 ) When you are reading this, I will be well on my way to my parents. Today is their moving day and we are off to help. Now, when it comes to moving I am almost an expert. We moved a few times and I can tell you it was never fun. Even still today our furniture starts to shake when a truck drives by. Now moving is all about boxes. Your stuff goes into the box and then onto the truck and finally at the new destination the stuff comes out of the box. One thing I can tell you is that with every move our stuff got lesser and lesser, because I gave some away that I thought we do not need anymore. Some would think I just made it less and easier to move. I would argue the opposite, but surely everyone is entitled to their own opinion. When we look at life it is a bit like moving. You see we experience things in life and we box it. This c...
