Today Reminder - 11 December 2012 (A broken law)

A reminder for today
"Have the people make an Ark of acacia wood—a sacred chest 45 inches long, 27 inches wide, and 27 inches high. (Exodus 25:10)

A broken law:

The Ark of the Covenant was made to hold the stone tablets with the Ten Commandments from God. This was seen as the holiest of holy places in the temple and created a mediator between God and the people. “I will meet with you there and talk to you from above the atonement cover between the gold cherubim that hover over the Ark of the Covenant. From there I will give you my commands for the people of Israel.” (Verse 22)

When Jesus died on that cross, all of this disappeared. There are no more walls between you and God and Jesus our ultimate mediator stands by God’s side where He pleads for you and me each day. I read this interesting article on the web at http://www.wyattarchaeology.com/ where amateur archaeologist Ron Wyatt claims to have found the Ark of the Covenant. What is so amazing about his story is that the ark was hidden and the this place was below Jesus’s cross on the day of His crucifixion and when the Jesus died there was huge earthquake and the earth cracked open below His cross allowing His blood to flow down onto the ark of the covenant fulfilling His purpose to break the law and to take sin on His shoulders.

What is even more amazing about Ron’s discovery is this, he found traces of blood and here is what his tests revealed: “As we mentioned earlier, the blood on the mercy seat was tested. Human cells normally have 46 chromosomes. These are actually 23 pairs of homologous chromosomes. In each pair of chromosomes, one of the pair is from the mother and the other member is from the father. Therefore, 23 chromosomes come from the mother and 23 from the father. In each set of 23, 22 chromosomes are autosomal and one is sex-determining. The sex-determining ones are the X chromosome and the Y chromosome. Females are XX, so they can only contribute an X chromosome to their offspring, whereas males are XY, which allows them to contribute either an X or a Y. If they contribute an X, the child is female, whereas if they contribute a Y, the child is male. The fascinating finding in this blood was that instead of 46 chromosomes, there were only 24. There were 22 autosomal chromosomes, one X chromosome and one Y chromosome. This evidences that the person to whom this blood belonged to had a mother but no human father, because the normal contribution of paternal chromosomes is missing.”

My dear friend, we are worshipping an amazing and awesome God. Let us give Jesus all the glory He deserves during Christmas.

I pray that your faith will be renewed and that your spirit will be lifted during this Christmas as we worship our Lord Jesus Christ for coming down to earth and to take away our sins on His cross, in Jesus name.

Have an awesome day, dear friend of Jesus.

Cheers
