A reminder
for today
They
said to all the people of Israel, "The land we travelled through and
explored is a wonderful land! And if the LORD is pleased with us, he will
bring us safely into that land and give it to us. It is a rich land flowing
with milk and honey. (Numbers 14:7-8)
If the Lord brings you to it, He will bring you through
it.
Once again the people of Israel are forgetting who God
really is. They stare blindly against the obstacles that lie ahead and already
they made up their minds of what the outcome will be. Have you done that
before? Have you come to place in your life where you thought that it would be
imposable to continue, or maybe you are there now?
God does not take us to places in our lives so that we
can give up and go back. God takes us to these difficult paces so that He can
take us through it for the glory of His name. When it seems impossible and we
succeed, how much more will we realise it is by God’s grace that we succeeded
and how much more will we give Him praise for this accomplishment.
My dear friend, God is with you and in this amazing time
of the year He wishes to take you to places where it seems impossible to go so
that you will know He is God and He is with you.
My prayer for you for today is that you will have a
wonderful and a peaceful day filled with His presences as we prepare for
Christmas and that you will not be afraid when things seem impossible, but that
you would trust the Lord with all your heart, in Jesus name.
