A
reminder for today
If
you will only obey me, you will have plenty to eat. (Isaiah 1:19)
Obey also means to submit or to follow. If we submit to
Jesus it means that we give our lives to follow Him in in that it means that we
should reflect His way of life in our way of life. This means that we submit
our current way of life to be like Him. To fully obey the Lord in every respect
and to let His light be our tower in the midst of all our storms.
God adds a huge promise to this statement. The minute we
submit and follow Him, He will give us plenty to eat. This to me means that God
will take care of our day to day needs so that we will not go hungry but that
we will have all that is required to live.
So today I want to remind you that there is more for us
in life when we follow Jesus. God will protect us and keep us safe. He will
make sure we have enough to live; He will give us our daily bread.
Lord, we submit completely to you and we give you all our
hearts to that the world will see we live for you. Bless us each day will our
daily bread and forgive us our sins as we forgive those that sinned against us.
Lord, and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. In Jesus name.
